  • PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS:  If you live in the southern part of the state, we suggest you join the Maryland Eastern Shore Chapter which covers lower Delaware and the Maryland/Delaware beach communities.  While we would love to have you as a member, all of our events take place in the northern part of the state.

As the largest women-focused amateur golf association in the U.S., the LPGA Amateur Golf Association has connected more than 100,000 women who share a passion for cultivating relationships and enjoying the game of golf.  Offering a wide range of affordable organized golf activities and educational programs, this award-winning association has been driving social and networking opportunities for women through the game of golf since 1991.

Our Chapter, which was formed in 2001 and covers northern Delaware, southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey, offers golf, education and networking events for golfers of all skill levels.  Our members are our most valuable asset.  That's why membership will continue to play an important role in the continued health and growth of our Chapter.  Our members are business owners, corporate executives, professionals, stay-at-home moms, retirees and entrepreneurs.  All of us share at least one thing in common - love for the game of golf!

Don't worry about your score - we want you to play golf with us.  We offer a league and golf events at every level, from beginner to expert. Our top scoring members shoot under 80 for 18 holes while many of us are still working to break 100.  Some of us don’t even keep score (although we encourage you to start doing so once you're comfortable)!  There's something for everyone.

LPGA Amateurs is about fun, friendship, networking, opportunities to play golf and skill development.  We hope that both renewing members and new ones will take full advantage of all that the organization has to offer.  After all...

3 – 4 pm ~ Warm up and tips from Becky
4 – 6 pm ~ Fun 9-hole scramble

Dates for 2019 are April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11.

Call (302) 571-9041 or email to register.  Please note that these scrambles are not affiliated with LPGA Amateurs Delaware, however, we are promoting them since many of our members have played in them in the past.

Open play/league night is a great way to see old friends, make new friends and find people who like to play golf.

Beginning April 15, the Chapter has tee times reserved on Monday nights starting at 4:40 p.m. at Delcastle Golf Club.  Rates are $27 for 9 holes with cart or $17 walking.

Open play is available for all members, but for those who are interested in a little friendly competition, we have a match play league that will play every other week starting in early May.  In addition to competitive play, we will also sprinkle in some fun formats.  For the first match, the League Chair will draw names to determine opponents.  There will be no flights this year so everyone has a chance to play different people each match.  All you need to join the league is a handicap and $25.

Whether you just want to enjoy open play, or prefer to play in the league, we hope to see everyone after their rounds at the 19th hole for food, libations and time to socialize.

For more information and to register for league, please contact Cyd Barry at (302) 588-6954.  Payment will be accepted via PayPal (send money to

Following is our current clinic schedule.  For more information and to register, please contact Terry Moore.  Payment will be accepted via PayPal (send money to
