  • Ledgeview GC Tuesday Morning Ladies & Thursday Ladies Night Under Way - Jul 30, 2020

    Ledgeview Golf Club in Abbotsford has started its Tuesday Morning Ladies group now, and also their Ladies Night.

    Tuesday Morning Ladies is just a drop in, with times set aside just for ladies, every Tuesday morning from 9:00am – 10:10am, probably until the end of September.  The cost is $35.00 for the green fee. There is no competition with this group – it is just golf.

    Ladies Night is held every Thursday night until mid September. Tee times to play 18 holes start at 2:00pm for a cost of $35.00 and tee times to play 9 holes start at 4:00pm for a cost of $20.00. There is also a cost of $5.00 for prizes and although there is not a competition, they do have draw prizes and optional deuce pots as well as a 50/50 draw.

  • BC Golf Launches 3 LPGA Amateur Chapters With Some Special Guests - Jun 18, 2020

    British Columbia Golf hosted a 'virtual launch' Wednesday, June 17th for its 3 new LPGA Amateurs chapters - Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley & Okanagan/Kamloops/Shuswap.

    Special guests included LPGA Commissioner Michael Whan, 4-time LPGA winner Lorie Kane, LPGA Professionals VP Mary-Lee Cobick and a recorded message from current Canadian LPGA star, Brooke Henderson.

    One of British Columbia Golf's newest Board Members, Shayain Gustavsp, boasts an incredible resume:
    Aside from being a certified LPGA Teaching and Club Professional since 2018, Shayain has nine years of experience providing corporate sponsorship, premium sales & hospitality, customer service and specialized event planning for high net worth individuals in the United Kingdom, Spain, the U.S. and Canada. She is a specialist with a proven track record in a variety of sport industries including EPL, LaLiga, NBA, NFL, NHL & USTA.

    She has put together some instructional videos to help introduce basic elements of the game to women of all ages, check them out below:
