The first tee was ready and waiting for competitors to determine our 2025 Champions!

It was an exciting final round of the 2025 Chapter Championship.  We had a total of 55 competitors split into 5 flights.  Many played both dates to determine our champions.  At the June 1 final round, 13 players shot net 72 or below.  We had many competitors miss awards by only one or two strokes.  That is a good competition and an excellent representation of the golfers in our chapter. 

Many stayed after for food, drinks and laughs with friends.  It was a noisy restaurant.  So much fun to hear the cheers and applause as I read the list of winners. 

Our 2025 Chapter Champion is Karen Garcia.  Anyone who has had the opportunity to play with Karen knows she is a great representative of golf.  In order to prove her initial round of 70 was not a fluke, she went right back out on Sunday and shot 70 again! 

Our 2025 Net Chapter Champion is Chao Chen.  Chao took a different route to the podium.  At her first round she shot net 82.  On round two it all came together and she shot a net 67!

Great playing by both of our champions!  Also, they each earned a spot on the Sacramento Cal Cup Team.  Congratulations.  They will be good ambassadors for our club.
