Alternating Shot

Starting tee time 9am

We are anticipating a fun time at our February Golf Event!  It has been a few years since our chapter has played at the Indian River Preserve in Mims, so we thought it might be nice to try a course that most of us do not normally play.  We have tee times for 28 players reserved, beginning at 9a on Saturday, Feb 22.  

Since there are a lot of new members in our chapter this year, we are going to play another team game this month. We will play an alternating shot, 2-person step-aside scramble format, where both players hit a drive, then the players select the drive they want to play, and the person whose drive isn’t taken hits the next shot. Then the other person will hit the next shot, and so on until the two of you finish the hole. You will both drive on every hole. We would like to pair everyone up to try to maximize the opportunity to get to know each other better.  So please no pairing requests for this month. This will be a handicapped event with max handicap at 34 (meaning if your handicap is higher than this, your playing handicap will be limited to 34).


Following the round, we will meet in Andres' restaurant in the golf club for lunch and prizes.

Registration Fees: $48 per member - Fee includes round, range balls, prizes (and fun!).

Note that if your annual membership is not current, Golf Genius will not allow you to register for the event. 

If you need to cancel after registering, you will be refunded, but charged a nominal $3 system service fee. 

Registration closes Wednesday, February 19. The field is limited to 28 players.
