2-Person Scramble - Starting tee time 10am
It’s time to sign up for our next monthly event, and it’s Master’s weekend! So if you have any Master’s attire, wear it! And we will get a group picture. This is probably our last event before some of our chapter members head back north for the summer.
Course Info: The Savannahs doesn’t have fast greens nor azalea bushes, but it does have some interesting water “features” and some of the largest gators in Brevard. Designed by award winning architect Gordon Lewis in 1989, the Savannahs Golf Course presents exciting challenges and opportunities for golfers at all levels. Lewis’s course designs are known for challenging shot-making opportunities, while being fun to play. Always take extra balls because that part about challenging = many opportunities to find water and woods!
Format: We will play a 2-person Scramble, typical scramble format, with each player hitting a ball, then select the shot you want of the 2 and both hit from there, and then continue that way thru holing the ball. You can place your balls within a club length of your shot no closer to the green and within the same course area (ie, if in the rough, you must hit out of the rough). And on the green, you can place it within a putter-head length. In honor of it being the weekend for The Master’s, and the difficulty of that course, we will let you drop one par3, one par4, and one par5 hole from your scores. You choose the holes.
Prizes: low gross and low net (quantity dependent upon numbers of players), and also 2 CTPs.
Pairings: Our Events Director would like to set up the pairings to try to equalize the teams for the low gross competition, but if you have a strong preference to be paired with someone, please indicate that in your registration.
Registration Fees: $60 per Player - Fee includes range balls, cart, round of golf, and prizes.
Guests are permitted, and you should be able to sign them up when you sign up yourself. If you have trouble, send Amanda Mitskevich an email (Amitskev@gmail.com).
Last day to register: Wednesday, April 09, 2025 at 10:00 PM
