Getting a Golf Handicap Index

The USGA now requires all handicaps to be issued through a state or regional golf association club. As such, the national LPGA Amateurs is not permitted to offer us the handicap service past December 2022. 

You have several options for joining a club where you can maintain your Handicap Index:
  • Type 1 Club:  Members are located on a specific golf course.
  • Type 2 Club:   Members are affiliated or known to one another. (Since we are affiliated with LPGA Amateurs of Palm Beach County before joining the club, we are offering a Handicap Index through our Type 2 Club.)
  • Type 3 Club:  Members have no prior affiliation (ex.  The Florida State Golf Association)
If you wish to join the Palm Beach County Chapter's Type 2 Club at a cost of $25 per year, please email handicap@lpgaamateurspbc.com with:

  • Full Name
  • Your existing GHIN if you are transitioning an existing handicap to our Type 2 Club.
  • Your email
