Ohio Valley Golfing 101 Event

Below are the details for the Ohio Valley Event. You will need to register and pay for the event through the Ohio Valley link below.

Time:      Registration 9:00-9:30 a.m.               In Carts - 9:45 a.m.

              Modified Shotgun start: 10:00 a.m.

Format: 4-person Shamble (play your own game from the best drive). Two people from each chapter will be paired with a twosome from another chapter. Must use 2 drives from each player

Cost:     $60 LPGA Members/$65 Guests (plus processing fees*). The cost includes golf w/cart, lunch at the turn, light appetizers following golf and prizes

*I asked about the processing fees and was told they were not sure since it's a small percentage of the total. The Ohio Valley event coordinator indicated it would only be a few dollars more. 

Sunday at Clearview Golf Club in East Canton, OH

On Sunday, August 3rd, we have six (6) tee times booked at Clearview Golf Club in East Canton, OH. If you don't know anything about Clearview, check out their website. It's very interesting.

Note: You do not have to play in the Ohio Valley Event to join us at Clearview, but Ohio Valley event attendees will be given first chance to sign up.

Hotel Accommodations

Since the Ohio Valley course is approximately 3 hours from Pittsburgh, we have 10 rooms (1 king and 9 double queen) blocked at the Best Western in Wooster, OH for both Friday and Saturday nights. The cost is $192 per room per night (includes taxes and fees). Wooster is half-way between the courses in Galion and East Canton, OH.  You can book for one or both nights. Please use the link below to make your hotel reservations. If we get a large turnout, there are other hotels in the Wooster area. When making your reservation, it will automatically show for August 1st and 2nd. You can edit your stay details based on the number of nights you want to stay and the number of people in your room (max number of people in the double queen room is 4).

IMPORTANT: You must make your hotel reservation by July 2nd. After that date, the block will be canceled. You can still make a reservation after that, but it will not be at the discounted group rate.
