Summer Virtual Scramble
The St. George Chapter of the LPGA Ams fielded three teams for this summer's Virtual Scramble! The Virtual Scramble raises funds for the LPGA Amateur Golf Association Women on Par Scholarship program. Teams around the world play a scramble at any par 72 golf course and the LPGA Ams uses an algorithm and handicaps to determine winners. The event raised almost $18,000 for the Scholarships and Grants. The three teams had fun times even though they didn't win!
-The best result in the Competitive division was the Who's Your Caddie Team of Kelly White, Barb Berrett, Deb Calegory and their friend Rochelle Hurst. They T10 Gross with a gross score of 67 and T8 Net with a net score of 56!! Great Job!!
- The Sultans of Swing team of Kathy Butler, Patti Jo Johnson, Nicole Hirst and new member Sue Rinehart T16 gross and T16 net with a gross score of 72 and a net score of 60! Way to go girls!!
* The Desert Diva team of Kelly Downey, Keri Thomas, Susan Spivey and Pattie Owens T21 gross with a gross score of 74 and T23 net with a net score of 61. So Close!
Think about playing in the Winter Virtual Scramble expected to happen next winter! All for a great cause and so much fun!!!
