Chapter Policies

Tee time booking policy for LPGA Amateurs Association BC Lower Mainland / Island Region Chapter

  1. Tee times are posted on our Chapter web site as soon as they are booked.

  2. Tee times are opened 14 days prior to the date. We cannot hold spots prior to this 14-day window. Members may sign up via the Chapter WhatsApp group or by emailing lpgaamateurslmbc@gmail.com

  3. Players will be assigned to tee times according to the following priorities:

Members-only Tee Times (e.g. Mylora Mondays and more)

Open Tee Times (e.g. Golden Eagle, Vancouver/Burnaby city courses and more, open to members and non-members)

  • As long as a spot is open, members may sign up anytime up to the day of the tee time.

  • Signups are first come, first served.

  • A waitlist will be opened for tee times that are full.

  • Members get priority access for the first 48 hours after tee time is opened.

  • After 48 hours, non-members may request a spot.

Once you have accepted a tee time, a Chapter Leader will clarify whether payment is at the clubhouse or directly to the Chapter.

Cancellation Guidelines:

  • For individuals: if you need to cancel within 24 hours of the tee time, the Chapter will make a reasonable effort to fill your spot from the waitlist, if there is one. Simultaneously, individuals should try to find a player to fill their spot. If the spot is not filled, the player who cancels within 24 hours may be asked to cover the booking fee for that tee time (if applicable).

    • Individuals with multiple cancellations in a season may lose priority for future tee time reservations. Please only sign up for a tee time if you are committed to play. Please inform a Chapter Leader if you need to cancel; do not “no-show”.

  • For weather-related reasons: cancellation is at the discretion of the Chapter. A minimum of 24 hours notice will be given to all players who have signed up.

Fair Signup Guidelines:

  • While tee time signup is on a first come, first served basis, tee times are intended to provide all members with a fair chance to participate and play. Members are expected to act in good faith and avoid behaviours that limit access for others. If the same member is booking the same tee times at a frequency that may prevent others from playing, that member may be placed on a temporary waitlist to allow others time to book.
