We'd Love Your Help !
Are you interested in meeting new people? Would you like to get more involved in our Chapter? Do you have enthusiasm, hidden talents, team spirit, bright ideas? If so, consider volunteering to help us thrive. Our Chapter runs on volunteers, and we can use everybody's help. You can assist with organizing our monthly and special events, serve on a committee, or consider joining our board. Pressed for time? We have lots of one-time opportunities for you, such as working at our booth during the LA Open, checking in players at our monthly events, soliciting items for our Holiday Party opportunity drawing, just to name a few. If you would like to help out, just LET US KNOW.
Can I request to be paired with with somebody?
You can . . . but why not leave your choice of playing partners up to the Pairing Fairy? One of the benefits of belonging to our Chapter is the chance to meet other golfers. Playing with other women can actually help your game. You might pick up some useful tips by watching how other golfers approach course management. And you could be that person who makes newcomers feel welcome from the start. Doing so will make a huge difference in helping new members assimilate into the group, insuring they will keep coming to our events.
So yes, you can make a pairing request, and we will try to accommodate you. But why not put your fate in the hands of our Pairing Fairy? You might just meet your new best friend!

Sponsorships help us to fill this chapter with fun things for our members. We subsidize the Chapter Championship, Holiday Party & after events appetizers, just to name a few. We also raise money through opportunity drawings of donated gift items at special events. Please contact Donna Coleman if you would like to become a sponsor or donate gifts to raise $'s. Members have donated sun glasses, iPads, Fitbit, wines, gift certificates -- whatever you think will generate ticket sales!
Roger Dunn is our premier local sponsor, providing us with gift cards to use at our events. In addition, the WLA Super Store hosts an annual special shopping day for us with special gifts and discounts to our members. Be sure to mention our club by name and use your discount! We want to let them know that we appreciate their support and that we're spending our $$ there!
