  • Chapter Update on the COVID-19 Coronavirus
Chapter Update on the COVID-19 Coronavirus

We have received notification from LPGA Amateurs Headquarters recommending that all Chapters suspend all group gatherings due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus. This includes all golf events, leagues, clinics and social events run under the LPGA Amateurs Treasure Coast Chapter’s name.

We unfortunately had to cancel our March 15 Shamrock Scramble, and will reschedule that event on a future date.

Our next “event” is golf on Sunday, March 29 at Banyan Creek in Palm City. So far, seven have signed up to play. It took some effort to be able to schedule play at such a great private course, but based on the guidance above, we will have to cancel that event under our Chapter’s umbrella.  Registration is closed, but the tee times are still in place, you can call the pro shop directly to let them know you are playing (772) 320-9845.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will make a decision on how to proceed with our future schedule of events and communicate that information to you in this weekly communication.

We ask all members to be diligent in regard to hygiene practices wherever you are and to be aware of recommendations by our local health care authorities to protect yourself, your loved ones and others around you.

    Thank you and stay well!
