  • Vote for Your 2023-2025 Chapter President

    Nominations for our 2023-2024 Board of Directors are complete.

    Congratulations to Denise Natalizio and Claudia Limanni who will each serve a two-year term as Directors of the Chapter.

    The remaining step in our elections process is to vote for our next President. We are thrilled that our current President, Susan Murphy is ready to serve another term.  Although Susan is running unopposed, our bylaws require that we must still vote for President.  So, please click the link below and vote for Susan Murphy for President.

  • Treasure Coast Chapter Wins The Traveling Tee It Up Cup!

     


    On Sunday, August 15, the Palm Beach Chapter hosted the first annual Traveling Tee It Up Cup competition at Madison Green Country Club in Royal Palm Beach.

    Four Chapters from across Florida participated in this four-ball match play challenge:  Palm Beach, Miami, Red Hills and Treasure Coast.  Our teams were

    Denise Ryan and Maureen Pinnix
    Elaine Zumsteg and Deb Miron
    Brigite Babine and Joanne Torcivia
    Sue Whittington and Wendy Jennings

    We won three out of four matches, scoring a total of 45 points, to win the inaugural trophy.  In addition, the Ryan/Pinnix team won Low Net!

    Congratulations to our team and all the competitors - and many thanks to Michelle Meehan and the Palm Beach Chapter for hosting this great event!

  • Mid Round Storm didn't stop the Fun at Ocean Club

    Though a mid round storm delayed finishing 18 holes, player's enjoyed a fun day of golf at the welcoming Ocean Club. One group waited out the storm in the tunnel.

    Shout out to Joanne Torcivia who chipped from the fringe on hole #5 for a birdie!!

                       

               

  • Treasure Coast Members Participate in the Palm Beach Chapter annual Pink Ball Tournament

    The team of Brigite Babine, Lisa Rabant, Deb Miron and Claudia Limanni lost the pink ball, but that did not stop them from winning the Flight 2 Best Ball Score.
    The Palm Beach Chapter put on a great event!!

     


  • Fun Day of Golf during the Highway Series

    Our Chapter was well represented and had a great time at the Highway Series on April 15th. We had a 16-member team and participated in the single match play.

    Lisa Rabant and Wendy Jennings did great in the putting contest making it into the playoff.

  • Treasure Coast Members are part of the Splenda teams that takes home the win in the Sugar Bowl held in Clewiston

    Treasure Coast Members represents at the Sugar Bowl held on April 1st in Clewiston. The Sugar Bowl included 5 different LPGA Amateurs Chapters and the Clewiston Women's Golf for a friendly competition and fun by all.
    Team Splenda (which included members from Lee Charlotte, Miami, Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast won the Sugar Bowl.

    Treasure Coast Members also won the following categories: 

    Overall Low Gross: Louise Cholette-Haley and Vicki Hammer
    3rd Net: Bertha Herndon and Donna Howell

  • LPGA Amateurs All Members Meeting recognizes our chapter for community involvement!

    Our chapter was highlighted for our community involvement,
    on the LPGA Amateurs all member meeting held Tuesday (21st) evening. Great job supporting our community!


  • Annual Shamrock Scramble @ Jensen Beach Golf

    Another beautiful and fun day for the Annual Shamrock Scramble at Jensen Beach Golf Club. Winning team (Jenna Boyce, Brian Boyce, Joyce Colleen, Langford Jacobus with an amazing score of 62. Closest to the pin Women: Lynn Graff, Men: Stephen Salaki.

     

     



  • Beautiful day for our 4th Annual Snowflake Scramble at Lost Lake Golf Club and collecting donations for our Holiday Adopt a Family!

    Thank you to everyone who played in the 4th Annual Snowflake Scramble and participated in the Adopt a Family for Christmas from Hibiscus Children’s Center Supporting Families in Crisis. We collected $500.00 to purchase a Walmart gift card for the family. The Chapter also provided Christmas presents for the children.

  • Club Corp House of Hope Charity Tournament

    Chapter members participated in the Club Corp House of Hope Charity Tournament held at Monarch Country Club. The foursome of Joanne Torcivia, Kyle Hughes, Deb Miron and Brigite Babine came in 3rd in their flight and supported a worthwhile charity that has done so much for our community. 

    Our chapter also sponsored a hole during the tournament.

     

  • Treasure Coast LPGA Amateurs Represent at M.I.S.S Charity Tournament

    The team of Denise Ryan, Jean Laws Scott, Lisa Rabant and Denise Natalizio participated in the M.I.S.S charity tournament. M.I.S.S is a program that supports mothers that are homeless.

    Lisa Rabant won longest drive for the women and Jean scored on basket items!

    IMPORTANT - LPGA Amateurs GolfNet Handicap Sunsetting

    This is a reminder that the LPGA Amateurs GolfNet Handicap will no longer be available for any member to use after Dec 31, 2022. For those of you who are not registered through a golf club, we are recommending you sign up on the FSGA Handicap website (https://www.fsga.org/sections/Handicaps/Buy-a-Handicap-Online/28). The cost is $50.00 for the year. Registration is now open for 2023 and all posted scores and current handicap index will be transferred automatically. Members with a current GHIN number can find their number on the LPGA Amateur Member portal if they do not know it. (https://chapters.lpgaamateurs.com/home/chapter/FLTC)


  • LPGA Amateurs invited to the VIP Tour of the CME Group Tour Tournament Championship

    Two members from each of the LPGA Amateurs chapters around Southern Florida were invited to the beautiful Tiburon Golf Course in Naples, FL for a VIP behind the scenes experience at the CME Group Tour Tournament Championship on November 17th. Deb Miron and Brigite Babine from our Treasure Coast chapter joined members from seven other chapters for this unique experience. The All Access experience included meeting LPGA Tour Tournament Staff, Tournament Rules Officials and tours of the Media Room, Physiotherapy, and Club Repair trailers. The experience to observe many aspects of the multifaceted $80 billion golf industry was of particular interest to Brigite who is enrolled as a student in the Golf Management degree program at the Keiser Flagship School of Golf.
    It was a beautiful day to watch golf and take in the total experience with the behind the scenes tour.

  • Fun Times at The Treasure Coast Chapter 2022 Kick Off

    2022 Season Kick Off

    On October 30, twenty-eight golfers hit the links at St. Lucie Trail for our 2022 Season Kick Off.  We experienced a little rain, a little wind and lots of sunshine!  We had some great costumes and great fun, and showed our support for our 2022 Board of Directors.     On Saturday, October 9, sixteen members of the Treasure Coast Chapter competed in this year’s Chapter Championship at Lost Lake Golf Club in Hobe Sound.  Play was cut short by lightning, but all players completed 14 holes.  Our Low Gross Champion is Denise Ryan with a gross score of 70.  There was a three way tie for Low Net Champion, but Mary Ellen Purdy prevailed through the tie-breakers with a net score of 60.  Brett Peterson, Denise Natalizio and Claudia Limanni won next Low Net in each of the three flights with net scores of 60, 61 and 62 respectively.  Brett Peterson and Kelly Barney won Closest to the Pin, and Sandy Lester won Closest to the Line.  Congratulations to all the winners and the rest of us will try again next year!!
