Kickoff 2024 at Oak Hills Golf Club began with a delicious, made-to-order breakfast prepared by snack bar cook extraordinaire Melba. We were treated to eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, toast, sweet treats, coffee and Juice.
Chapter President Janet Reynolds provided the welcoming message and let us know about the great events planned for us. There are lots of opportunities to play golf this year, with weekly Wednesday afternoon golf, monthly chapter events, monthly Sunday play, and monthly Sunday travel golf.
Oak Hills Assistant Pro Vince DeAngelo let us know about changes coming to the course and his enthusiasm both for our group and golf in general. He looks forward to providing us with opportunities to learn and help grow the game.
After our meal and talk, it was time to hit the course for 9 holes of Captain's Choice. A great time was had by all! We hope to see everyone at our March event at the River Club in Augusta, Georgia!
