2019 SWFL Chapter Championship

Time to Get the Ball Rolling!
Registration Deadline is 4/24/19

Have some fun and support your Chapter

Want to be part of the largest Amateur Women's Golf Tournament in the World?

Come out and join us for our Chapter Championship and get to experience the thrill of the first stage of a National competition.

Nervous?   Why? You're only competing against the people you see on the course all the time with the same kind of handicap you have...

Not good enough?    Why? You're the same level of player as the others in your flight with the same handicap, AND all your strokes still count...

Only play for fun?   You may surprise yourself how much fun you have competing with others at your level of ability... how do you know if you don't try?

It's too expensive? $75.00 for golf at The Quarry, lunch, entry fee, awards, lots of fun AND a replay round of golf? Awesome value, what have you got to lose?

I won't be available for the next round if I win: So, someone not as good as you on the day gets to go....
Come on ladies, make 2019 the year you take a chance and be part of something HUGE (ah)!

All the details are below, and please just ask if you have any questions.

REGISTER NOW, and see you at The Quarry on May 11th!

Tournament fee is $75.00 per player including golf, your championship entry fee, awards luncheon and a replay round at the Quarry for the summer.

The Championship registration will be processed through Headquarters (not our 123 sign up).

You have the choice to either play in stroke play or play with a scramble team.
( please note that we can not find you a team to play on )

Practice rounds at the Quarry will be available after May 1st at the going rate.
In order to be eligible to play, you need to have played and posted 2 rounds since January 1st. If you haven't then get busy, there's still time.
Stroke play competitors play in one of five flights based upon their USGA Handicap Index.
Championship flight    0.0-10.0
First Flight                  10.1-17.0
Second Flight             17.1-24.0
Third Flight                 24.1-32.0
Fourth flight               32.1-40.4
You play against those in your handicap range with the Chapter Champion determined from the Championship Flight ( or lowest represented handicap division ).
At registration, you may also sign up for the Senior Award (ages 55-69) or the Super Senior Award (70 and above) which will be awarded to the lowest gross senior or super senior

Scramble teams still consist of four (4) players but
Each team member must hit and use a
minimum of four (4) tee shots per 18-hole round.

Team Course Handicap (Ambrose): The team course handicap will be determined by using the Ambrose method. The Ambrose method is 50% of the average of the 4 competitors' course handicaps rounded to the nearest whole number.
