  • Member Member - Raptor Bay on 10/25

As we transition into the Fall and head into Winter 2020 - 2021 Season it is hard to see all the great fun of the Summer come to an end. Thank goodness here in Florida we will continue to enjoy great weather so even though it wont be Summer we can continue to act like it is. This event will be restricted to members only.
The competition will be a 2 person best ball event. In "2-Person Best Ball” competition each of the two golfers plays their own golf ball throughout each hole and the lower score between the 2 players counts as the team score. Awards will be for Net and Gross low score. Select and confirm your chapter member partner and register through 123. Cost to play golf only is $65. Raptor Bay is providing a multi selection lunch that will be available to the group a la carte individually.
This event will also be an opportunity to give back. Given the challenges so many are facing providing food for their families we will be collecting dry and canned foods for donation to Our Daily Bread Food Pantry As you arrive at the course there will be a drop off collection point.

Volunteer

Current Volunteer Opportunity:
Members Helping Members

Want to Help?  Need Some Help?
During this challenging time we recognize that some of our chapter members may be in need of assistance. In response we are setting up a support network called Members Helping Members, and we are making available assistance to ANY chapter member that has a specific need (see the list below for some examples). If you (or a member you know) could use some help, or even a little emotional support, don’t hesitate to email our Member Assistance Coordinators: membershelpingmembersswfl@gmail.com

The coordinator will then make contact with the member in need and arrange for a volunteer helper to fulfill the requested task.

As this is a new program we are still looking for help. If you are interested in being either a coordinator or volunteer helper you can also email the coordinator mailbox at membershelpingmembersswfl@gmail.com and state what services you are willing to help with and the geographic area within the chapter you are willing to travel within.

Stay well and know there is help available -
Your SWFL Chapter Members Helping Members Team

We can help with things like....
  • Providing Meals
  • Rides to essential appointments
  • Help in lifting or moving items
  • Running errands (groceries/medicines)
  • Sending notes of encouragement
  • Assisting with technology
  • Visitation
  • Prayer
  • Emergency child/elder care
PLEASE NOTE:
Participation in this as a volunteer to help OR a recipient of help is voluntary, and up to each member to personally decide if they want to participate. Please consider known and unknown risks involved based on federal, state and local information along with your personal situation and comfort level.

We are always looking for volunteers!
