MORE TO COME!!

  • March 10 - Wednesday 3 Club Challenge at Jensen Beach Golf Club

    3/10/2021 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Jensen Beach Golf Club is located at: 3869 NW Royal Oak Dr. Jensen Beach, FL. 34957 (772) 692-3322
Details Missing golf on Wednesday nights? Let's try something new! Jensen Beach Golf Club is now allowing walkers after 4pm for $19. We have booked 2 tee times starting at 4:30pm on Wednesday, March 10. To give us a challenge while making the trek easier, you can only bring 3 clubs with you to play your round, Lowest gross and net score will get a special prize. You can only win once. Because we will quickly run out of daylight, and want everyone to get their round in, the first 4 who arrive will tee off at 4:30 SHARP. If you are late, you can be in the second group at 4:39, or find a way to catch up with us when you arrive. You will receive an email the day before with contact information, if you can't make it, please be courteous and contact us.

  • March 20 - Shamrock Ball Scramble at Meadowood

    3/20/2021 9:30 AM - 2/20/2021 2:00 PM
Meadowood is located at: 9425 Meadowood Dr. Fort Pierce, FL. 34951 (772) 466-4000
Details Big change of plans!! Welcome to the Shamrock Ball Scramble now at Meadowood in Fort Pierce! Join us on Saturday, March 20 for tee times starting at 9:32 am. We tried this last year, but weren’t able to go for the pot of gold, so we are trying again this year!! A four-person scramble, each team receives the famous Shamrock Ball to play with. Each player plays with the Shamrock Ball for one hole, from the tee all the way (hopefully) into the hole. You repeat that for each player until you finish the round, or *gasp* you lose the ball. Only teams who have not lost their ball get to play for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. If everyone loses the ball, then everyone can still be a winner! Here’s the catch, we have room for 20 people, or 5 teams. 8 people have already registered, so those 8 are in. Because of this, we are going to start out by having this be a members only event, and if we don’t get 20 members, we will open it up to spouses and others. If we get more than 20, we will start a wait list, and see if we can get additional tee times. We ask for your patience as we sort through getting this all set up. Meadowood doesn’t know us that well yet, so we want to get off on the right foot with them and make this fun for us. Still in effect, a special price for LPGA AM Members, $46! Make sure to enter your handicap index when you register. We are increasing the prize fund to $10 to make it worth keeping that Shamrock Ball!

  • April 10 - Saturday at Miles Grant

Miles Grant is located at 5101 SE Miles Grant Rd. Stuart, FL 34997 (772) 286-2220
Details Welcome to Saturday golf at Miles Grant in Stuart. Join us on Saturday, April 10 for tee times starting at 9:45am. Price is $25 + tax for 18 holes.

  • Congratulations to our Sweethearts!

On Saturday, February 6, twenty-seven cupids shot their arrows on the links for our Second Annual Sweetheart Scramble at Lost Lake.

There was a threat of rain all day but that didn't dampen our spirits, and everyone played until the rains finally came.  In the end, we had three winning teams:

1st Place - Team of Donna and Dan Dolan and Mike and Renee Kealy

    First Place Winners!

2nd Place:  Team of Deb and Gabe Miron and Jean and Greg Scott
    Second Place Winners

3rd Place: Team of Maureen and Terry Pinnix and Denise and Kevin Ryan
    3rd place winners

And one of our sweetest golfers, Lisa Rabant, won BOTH closest to the pin prizes!

  • Chapter Update on the COVID-19 Coronavirus

We have received notification from LPGA Amateurs Headquarters recommending that all Chapters suspend all group gatherings due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus. This includes all golf events, leagues, clinics and social events run under the LPGA Amateurs Treasure Coast Chapter’s name.

We unfortunately had to cancel our March 15 Shamrock Scramble, and will reschedule that event on a future date.

Our next “event” is golf on Sunday, March 29 at Banyan Creek in Palm City. So far, seven have signed up to play. It took some effort to be able to schedule play at such a great private course, but based on the guidance above, we will have to cancel that event under our Chapter’s umbrella.  Registration is closed, but the tee times are still in place, you can call the pro shop directly to let them know you are playing (772) 320-9845.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will make a decision on how to proceed with our future schedule of events and communicate that information to you in this weekly communication.

We ask all members to be diligent in regard to hygiene practices wherever you are and to be aware of recommendations by our local health care authorities to protect yourself, your loved ones and others around you.

    Thank you and stay well!
