This page provides details and registration links for our Weekly Morning League, Weekly Evening League, and our RVA Emerald Cup and RVA Match Play competitions.
WEEKLY LEAGUES
Both the morning and evening Leagues are returning this year. Registering for the Leagues does not obligate you to play. It simply ensures you will receive invitations to play each week.
Registration is now open. There is no entry fee. Players pay the course directly each week upon arrival.
Morning League
Location: Sycamore Creek Golf Course, 1991 Manakin Rd, Manakin-Sabot, VA 23103
Format: 18 holes
Dates: Every Wednesday morning, April 17, 2024 – November 13, 2024
Tee-times: 9:00 am beginning April 17th; shifts to 8:32am start on June 5th, returns to 9:00am on September 4th.
Cost: $42 incl cart; players pay the course directly upon arrival. Lunch is optional and individual pay.
Max # Players: 12 with a waitlist (Members only)

Evening League
Location: Providence Golf Course, 1160 S Providence Rd, Richmond, VA 23236

Format: 9 holes
Dates: Every Thursday evening, April 18, 2024 – September 19, 2024
Tee-times: 5:06 p.m. beginning March 23rd; 5:33 p.m. beginning May 4th and continuing through the Summer
Cost: $35 incl cart / $29 walking for 9 holes; players pay at the course upon arrival. Dinner is optional and individual pay.

CHAPTER COMPETITIONS
RVA Emerald Cup (aka RVA Capital Cup)
After a highly successful first season, the RVA Capital Cup returns with a new name. In honor of our 20th Anniversary, the RVA Capital Cup name will be called the RVA Emerald Cup (REC). The Emerald Cup is a season-long competition between LPGA Amateur RVA Chapter members.
In addition to the name change, the REC has some other exciting changes based on member feedback. Participants can participate in up to eight (7) total Cup events, with winners determined by totaling each player’s lowest four (4) gross and net scores. A player cannot be both a gross and net winner in her flight. Based on the number of participants, the number of flights may expand from two to three to equalize the competition more evenly. New this year, winners will be announced at the conclusion of each REC event. Season winners will receive a combination of cash & prizes.
REC events are designated on the 2024 Golf Events schedule, so register and mark your calendar now!! All members are encouraged to participate in this fun competition regardless of their handicap index or experience level. A handicap index is required. Entry fee is $30. Members only.

RVA Match Play – NEW!
In this season-long 9-hole Match Play competition, each competitor will play five (5) opponents, one per month from May through September. Two divisions will be created based on handicap.
On the 1st of the month, the Match Play Manager will update handicaps and send out the number of strokes that will be given during each competition each month. The pairings are randomly drawn, and you’ll have all the monthly pairings for the season in early June.
You and your competitor will agree to a course location, play a 9-hole match, and submit your results to the Captain. Each match must be completed within that month.
In October, the top two players from each division will compete for 1st & 2nd + 3rd & 4th place. Winners will receive a combination of cash & prizes.
All members are encouraged to participate in this fun competition regardless of their handicap index or experience level. A handicap index is required. Entry fee is $15.
