About Us

About the Palm Springs / Desert Cities Chapter

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association connects women through the game of golf by providing opportunities to learn, play, compete, and connect — for business and for fun. Founded in 1991 (formerly the Executive Women’s Golf Association – EWGA), the LPGA Amateurs serves women of all skill levels through chapters across the United States and internationally.

Established in 2001, the Palm Springs / Desert Cities Chapter represents a diverse and vibrant membership from across the Coachella Valley and beyond. Our members come from Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Bermuda Dunes, Indio, Riverside County, Twenty-Nine Palms, Redlands, San Bernardino County, Orange County, Los Angeles County, San Diego County, as well as many seasonal residents from across the U.S. and Canada — all united by a shared love of golf.

Led by a dedicated team of volunteer leaders and supported by engaged members, the chapter offers a welcoming environment for women new to the game, casual players, and experienced competitors alike. We host weekday and weekend golf events, educational opportunities, and social gatherings designed to accommodate a wide range of skill levels and schedules.

Members also have the opportunity to participate in chapter competitions and LPGA Amateur Championships, including individual stroke play, match play, and team formats. Guests are welcome to participate in up to two events before joining. We invite you to explore our Upcoming Events and connect with us anytime.
