Our mission is to provide a welcoming golf community for all women. The LPGA Amateur Golf Association transcends geographic boundaries. With Chapters in over 110 cities (and growing) in the US and internationally, we bring together and connect women who share a passion for golf. The LPGA Amateur Golf Association hosts thousands of golf, social, and networking events annually as well as providing members with the opportunity to participate in major National championships and events.
Who are Our Members
Diverse in every way, members play golf for a variety of reasons – to learn something new, to connect with other women, for health and wellness, to compete, for business, or just plain fun. Whether you are a beginner taking your first lesson, returning to the game after some time, or a lifelong golfer, you will find a welcoming community with the LPGA Amateurs.
The LPGA Amateur Golf Association is THE Golf Community for Women. Women of all walks of life, all backgrounds and all ages coming together, connecting, expanding their network and making new friends …. all around a shared passion for golf.
One of the greatest aspects about the game of golf is that the learning never ends. Golfers of all levels have the opportunity to get out on the course in different organized formats: leagues, play days, outings, and local and National events and competitions.
We take fun seriously! Chapters host a variety of casual get-togethers, social & networking events, clinics, weekly playing opportunities, leagues, etc. We offer a wide range of social and golf events to appeal to all women…. all skill levels.
History / Now part of LPGA Family
In 2018, the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) aligned with the LPGA and LPGA Foundation to become the LPGA Amateur Golf Association. Building on the almost 30 years that the EWGA connected thousands of women through the game, the LPGA Amateurs is now part of the LPGA family which includes the LPGA Tour, Symetra Tour, LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals, LPGA*USGA Girls Golf, LPGA Leadership Academies, and LPGA Women’s Network.
