About the Waterloo Region Chapter

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association exists to connect women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun.  Since its inception in 1991, the LPGA Amateur Golf Association (formerly known as Executive Women’s Golf Association – EWGA) has served as a portal to golf and touched the lives of thousands of women of all skill levels. LPGA Amateur Golf Association has Chapters throughout the United States and Internationally.

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association Waterloo Region Chapter was established in 1998 and the membership reflects a cross-section of individuals from different industries in Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Baden, New Hamburg, St. Agatha, Petersburg, Stratford, Drumbo, Paris, North Dumphries, and Guelph that all share a common link - GOLF. The LPGA Amateurs –  Waterloo Region is your best place to get involved, get connected and to have fun playing the game of golf.

Our Leadership team is comprised of a diverse group of energetic leaders and amazing supporting member volunteers. For members interested in helping with Chapter operations or events, we will always have an opportunity for you to help enrich women’s lives through the game of golf.

Everyone is welcome, including those who want to learn how to golf, those who enjoy playing casual golf and the more experienced (and perhaps competitive) players!  We offer organized weekend golf events and weekly league play geared to all levels of play and demanding schedules. We also offer outstanding golf education and social networking opportunities. For our competitive golfers an exciting Match Play League and participate in the LPGA Amateur Golf Association Championships and an Inter-Chapter Competitive Event.  We also celebrate Women's Golf Day with a special event.

Our league plays regularly twice a week.  We play Tuesday evenings rotating between Doon Valley  and Rebel Creek, and Thursday evenings at Rockway.   Special league nights provide members with the chance to try out different courses in the area.   We also arrange special weekend golf events where friends and family are invited to join in.

Our league starts in Late-April or early-May and runs until the end of September (weather typically dictates the beginning and end dates).  We are a group of approximately 100 women in the KW Region who love to golf, socialize and network.   Please get it touch if you have any questions about our league.

Guests considering membership in our Chapter are welcome to participate in two events before joining! Check out our Upcoming Events list and feel free to contact us anytime!
