Shahrazed (Zed) M. Fleming - President


Shahrazed (Zed) Metouri Fleming joined the LPGA Amateurs Golf Association in 2015 (formerly known as EWGA). She served as a board member under the leadership of Tracy Moy and Elizabeth Hardesty. Before becoming President for the upcoming season, Fleming served as Chair for Social and Educational Events. She has served as a board member for the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ YP Board in various roles and is now a chair for the SPE-GCS Business Development Study Group. Fleming is a trained chemist and has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 10 years. She graduated from the University of St Thomas with a B.Sc. in Chemistry and a M.Sc. in Industrial and Process Chemistry. Fleming was born in Algeria and grew up in Qatar, France, and Oman. Besides golf, Fleming enjoys traveling, arts and crafts, sewing, and spending time with her family and cats.

Bridget Brown - Financial Director


Bridget Levy-Brown is a remarkable example of a professional who pursued her passion and transformed her career. With a BA in Accounting and Finance and a master’s in Business Management, Bridget amassed over 25 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, and Hospitality, with extensive high-level management roles. Originally from Southwestern Louisiana, her culinary journey began with her grandmother in the family restaurant. In 2011, she followed her dream by opening New Orleans on the Avenue Creole Style Restaurant in Indianapolis, known for its authentic Southern dishes. After closing the restaurant, she contributed her expertise to other ventures, including working with former Indianapolis Colts player Gary Brackett at Georgia Reese's, where she trained chefs and helped manage daily operations. Bridget also assisted Nicko Edwards in establishing Exotic on the Run, bringing her knowledge in operations and compliance. In addition to her culinary career, she has a passion for golf, actively participating in several golf associations, including the LPGA Amateur Houston Chapter, where she currently serves as Treasurer & Finance Director.

Chantel Albert - Member Services Director and Secretary

Chantel grew up in the Philippines playing soccer and rugby. She picked up a golf club a few years ago and fell in love with the sport and the golf community. She has been a dedicated member of the LPGA Amateurs Association since 2022, joining to connect with other women who share her passion for golf and to find a competitive environment to play. Over the past year Chantel has served as Secretary. This year she will also contribute as the Membership Services Director, committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging community. Beyond the green, Chantel loves outdoor adventures like fishing, camping, and hiking with her dog Sasha
Julia Karnezis - 
Marketing & Communications Director
Julia joined the LPGA Amateurs Chapter in 2023 to hone her golf skills and soon discovered a supportive community of incredible women, both on and off the course. As a former college athlete, busy professional, and parent, she became more involved in the Chapter to help showcase golf as a powerful tool for women’s physical and mental well-being. With a professional background in digital marketing, employee experience, and scaling teams, Julia brings valuable expertise to her role as our Marketing & Communications Director. Outside of work and golf, she enjoys time with her husband and two children, rooting for the Texas Longhorns (her alma mater), and staying active. As Marketing & Communications Director, she is excited to help grow our Houston chapter and build upon an amazing community of women.

Dana McDonald - Golf Events Director


As the Membership Events Director for the LPGA Amateurs Houston Chapter, I am passionate about creating enjoyable and valuable experiences on the golf course for our members. I’ve been a board member since 2023, organizing events that bring together our fantastic community of women golfers. I am also involved in my alma mater, Penn State, Houston’s Board organizing events. Having played golf since my college years, I love the friendships and connections that our Chapter fosters. I look forward to continuing to deliver the best in golf and fun on our Houston’s courses!

Andrea Heiss - Marketing & Communications Chair


I started golfing about 10 years ago and joined the LPGA Amateurs Houston Chapter in 2023 as an opportunity to meet other women who enjoy the game as much as I do. In my spare time, I am either studying for my Masters Degree or reading a book.  I am a member of  the HLSR Wine Garden Committee and Houston Chapter President of my company’s Women’s Resource Group.  As a new member of the Leadership team I am excited to bring my experience to support growth of the Chapter and foster new relationships.

Dee Thompson - Golf Events Chair


Dee spent 38 years as a US Government Supervisory Auditor, starting as a college intern and rising to a managerial role with a high-level clearance. She led audit teams in the Departments of Interior, State, and Energy, focusing on programs related to oil and gas, Fulbright Scholars, and national research labs. Dee also taught Computer Information Technology as an Adjunct Professor, training students and corporate employees to enhance their computer skills.

A Golden Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Dee has been actively involved for 45 years, holding various finance roles and contributing to voter registration and community outreach. After retiring in 2017, she turned to golf and, in 2021, founded Women on Par Golf Club HTX to introduce more women and girls of color to the sport. With over 70 members, the club mentors the Benjamin Davis High School golf team and recently raised $8,000 to support the students' equipment and uniforms.
