Events Policies

Registration

All members should register for events online. Please contact the Webmaster for problems with online registration. If the event is full, members can contact the event captain to be placed on a waiting list.

Registration for an event closes eight days prior to the event.

Payments

Members can pay by credit card through Golf Genius at the time of online registration.

Cancellations/ Refunds

No refunds will be given for cancellations made seven or fewer days prior to the event. Cancellations made more than seven days prior to the event will incur a $5.00 cancellation fee. Please contact the event captain for more information.

Tour Cancellation

Cancellations for Tour will incur a $5.00 cancellation fee.

Substitutes

Substitutes are allowed if you are unable to attend an event AND  there is no wait list. Contact the Event Captain to let her know that you have a substitute and to inquire if there is a wait list. The substitute should pay you directly otherwise the waitlist registrations will be processed as necessary.

 

A member who is unable to attend can also check with the Event Captain to see if there is anyone on the wait list who can fill their position.

Non-members are welcome to all events that include a non-member option.

A non-member may attend two events in a season as a guest.

All guests must sign an LPGA Amateur Golf Association Release Form and provide It to the Event Captain before playing.

 

 

League Policies

Registration

League participation requires membership in the LPGA Amateur Golf Association DC Metro Chapter. All members must register for leagues online. Players who are not registered online will not be permitted to play on the league. Please contact the Webmaster for problems with online registration. If the league is full (including both regular and substitute), members can contact the league captain to be placed on a waiting list.

 

Members who attend the Kick-off event can register online for leagues at the Kick-off event. League registration is open to all LPGA Amateur Golf Association DC members until the league is full.

Rain Out Policy

Pay as you Play Leagues: In the event that a league date is rained out, the rain check policy for the golf course applies.

Pairings

League Captains will normally determine pairings for league play or use 1stcome, 1stserve tee sheet signup forms each week.

Attendance

If you register as a Regular / Full time league member, you are expected to play 85% of the scheduled league days for the session. If you do not, the Captain will change your status to that of Substitute player.

A non-member may play in a league TWICE in a season as a guest. All guests must sign an LPGA Amateur Golf Association Release Form and provide it to the League Captain before playing.
