Chapter Policies

Below are the Policies & Bylaws available for our chapter:

Event Registration (or Cancellation) Deadlines:  Only current members (2024 dues paid) are eligible to register and participate in Chapter and Association-wide events and activities. However, we really LOVE to meet new friends!  (Please see our guest policy below.)

  • For events occurring on a Monday – Registration or cancellation deadline is the previous Saturday at 8:00 AM, PT
  • For events occurring on a Thursday – Registration or cancellation deadline is the previous Tuesday at 8:00 AM, PT
  • For events occurring on a Saturday – Registration or cancellation deadline is the previous Thursday at 8:00 AM, PT

Please note that all Golf Genius registrations close at 8 A.M. Pacific Time (PT) on the dates indicated. If you are having trouble registering, want to play or cancel after the event is closed, please contact the course coordinator for that specific event  (contact name can be found on the event registration page).

Wait list - if an event is full, please add yourself to the wait list. We will let you know if a tee time opens up or if we add an additional tee time.

Weather- If the Chapter decides the weather is too bad to play, then we will contact the course to cancel and notify the players. We will not charge the members in this case. If the Chapter does not cancel the event, but the member decides the weather is bad for them, then that would be her responsibility.

If the deadline to cancel passes, and someone is unable to play, they either need to find a replacement or be willing to pay for their missed tee time slot.  Of course, there are going to be occasions when illness strikes unexpectedly at the last minute and exceptions would be made.

Guest / Non-Member Participation Policy:  LPGA Amateurs Central Oregon welcomes guests and LPGA Amateur members from other chapters to participate in our events as provided in the specific activity details.Guests/non-members may be charged a higher fee than members at these events. Guests are required to join the Association in order to attend a third event during the year. This policy does not preclude Chapters from requiring guests to join before attending future events if the guest has not joined after attending events as non-members in multiple years. Visiting members from other Chapters are not restricted by this Chapter Guest policy. However, visiting members who request to play in the events/activities of the same Chapter on a regular basis may be asked to become a dual member of that Chapter.  Please note:  Guests are always welcome at our events with a member registration.
