Participant Refund/Cancellation Policy

Golf Events

  • For cancellations made more than 14 days before the event, the chapter will refund the registration fee minus a $10 service charge. 

  • In lieu of requesting a refund, attendees can arrange for a replacement and notify the events team of any changes without a fee, as long as any changes are made within 48 hours of the event.

  • For cancellations made less than 14 days before the event, the chapter will not provide any refund. Attendees can arrange for a replacement and notify the events team of any changes without a fee, as long as any changes are made within 48 hours of the event.

  • All refunds will be handled by the chapter treasurer via email at treasurerlpgaamateursaustin@gmail.com.


Social Events

Event Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation of a Social Event or Golf Event is at the discretion of the Host Venue Staff, Golf Course Staff, and the LPGA Amateurs Austin Golf Events co-Chairs. Every effort will be made to play as scheduled. If an event is cancelled, the Events Committee will notify attendees and players via e-mail or text message. The treasurer will fully refund members who have paid for the event.

League Cancellation Policy

  • Post Deadline Cancellation Policy: The round signup deadline is in place to ensure fair access to playing opportunities for all members. If you do not update your playing status before the round signup deadline and then wish to cancel before the tee time, you must contact your league captain ASAP via text. Unless it is an emergency situation, you will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee. The league captain will invoice you the $25 cancellation fee after the round and you will not be allowed to sign up to play in any chapter golfing activity until you pay that fee.

 

  • No Shows Policy: A player who does not communicate with the league manager at all is a bigger problem than a player who cancels after the deadline and before the round begins. In addition to the above cancellation fee penalty, we will invoice a no show player for any costs that the chapter incurs on the player's behalf related to the no show round. We will also not assign any no show player a tee time for the next chapter event until after all other players have had the chance to sign up. That means that, if a no show player signs up for a round, we will place the player on the waitlist until after the round signup deadline closes and then only move the player to the confirmed player list if there is space after the rest of the waitlist has cleared.
