  • Golf Afternoon at Stone Tree

On Tuesday, August 5th we enjoyed a ‘FUN’ golf afternoon event at StoneTree. This included a 9-hole scramble, carts, networking, dinner, wine, and delicious cupcakes. Thanks to the 34 golfers that participated. Many golfer’s have never played StoneTree or have not played there in quite sometime. The weather was perfect, and everyone had a great time. It’s events like these that make 'Wine Country Chapter’ a unique golf experience for our members.

  • Beautiful Day At Rancho Solono

Twenty golfers enjoyed a beautiful day golfing at Rancho Solano Saturday, July 26.  The course was in fantastic shape and golfers wer able to test their skills at each of the 18 holes.  The greens ran fast and putting was a key to keeping scores low.

Golf Genius was programmed to ignore the three worst-scoring holes for each golfer to find the lowest net score for each golfer.  Vickie Marinovich and Cheryl Untermann scored 55 and Rieko Sato scored 56 to win Golf Mart gift cards.  Congratulations!

  • Corica Park Sister Event May 17th

On May 17th, members of the Wine Country and San Francisco chapters held our first "sister" event of 2025 at Corica Park South course. We had a great turnout with 24 golfers. It was a beautiful, sunny and "hang on to your hats" day with very gusty winds (from different directions!). The fairways were wide, the greens large with several levels and very fast. The winds made play more challenging, but a fun day was had by all.

Following our round, we gathered for appetizers and a charity raffle benefiting Pink Ribbon Good (PRG) Bay Area. There were wonderful prizes including Callaway golf balls, jewelry, purses, and the highly bid on round of golf at Corica and gift certificate for 3–25-minute sessions at Stretch Lab Greenbrae. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we raised $1,220 for PRG Bay Area.

Thank you to all who participated in the event and the raffle. And thanks to the sponsors who contributed the great raffle prizes. We hope to see you at our next sister event October 18th at the Presidio.
