Fifteen golfers joined us for a beautiful, sunny day of golf at Foxtail North. The course was fun but with several challenging holes (AKA approach shots to the green over barrancas). • Eagle Vines End of Season Event November 1st 2025

It was a warm, sunny day in the wine country and twenty six members enjoyed a great day of golf. The course was challenging but we had beautiful views of the fall colors on the vines and the smell of grapes fermenting. A good time was had by all.
We played a game of low net with two flights. The winners are:
    Flight 1 Low Net:
Rieko Sato with a score of 71
Marie Reis with a score of 72
Bette Caan with a score of 73

    Flight 2 Low Net:
Sara Cohn with a score of 70
Fran Koenig with a score of 74
Susan Davis with a score of 75
    Congratulations to the winners!!!

We gathered after the round to relax, share appetizers and thank our two 2024-2025 outgoing board members: President Bette Caan and Treasurer Sara Cohn. And a special thank you went out to our event chairs Diana Van Kessel and Paula Molligan for their hard work organizing our amazing events this season.

  • Twilight League End Of Season Celebration October 16th

On Thursday, October 16th we gathered at the Peacock Gap Range Cafe to celebrate the end of the twilight league season. Attendance was great with 23 members joining us. Thanks to Pamela Ownings for organizing the twilight league and planning our end of season party! It was an evening filled with good conversation and sharing a variety of our favorite Range Cafe food, wine, and cupcakes. And in addition, everyone received an LPGA Amateurs golf gift.

  • Corica Park Sister Event May 17th

On May 17th, members of the Wine Country and San Francisco chapters held our first "sister" event of 2025 at Corica Park South course. We had a great turnout with 24 golfers. It was a beautiful, sunny and "hang on to your hats" day with very gusty winds (from different directions!). The fairways were wide, the greens large with several levels and very fast. The winds made play more challenging, but a fun day was had by all.

Following our round, we gathered for appetizers and a charity raffle benefiting Pink Ribbon Good (PRG) Bay Area. There were wonderful prizes including Callaway golf balls, jewelry, purses, and the highly bid on round of golf at Corica and gift certificate for 3–25-minute sessions at Stretch Lab Greenbrae. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we raised $1,220 for PRG Bay Area.

Thank you to all who participated in the event and the raffle. And thanks to the sponsors who contributed the great raffle prizes. We hope to see you at our next sister event October 18th at the Presidio.
