Fifteen Lady Golfers had fun at the Chipping and Chocolate Clinic held recently at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course!
PGA Pro Tim Burney was back with his fun chipping lesson followed by delicious chocolate brownies! These 15 lady golfers are now ready to chip their way to golfing success!Twenty-Two Lady Golfers vied for fun and prizes at the May 10th Mayapple Kick Off Tournament!
The Scramble Team of Maire Thau, Donna Denby, Tina Crisanti, and Doris (Dee) Ditzler won with score of 70!
Amy Serafin won longest drive!
Melissa Greenly Miller won closest to the pin!
Cathy Shaeffer won the 50/50 raffle!
Our Chapter's Lady Golfers are hitting the links for several of the LPGA Amateur's National Events!
LPGA Amateurs Scramble Open at the Red Hawk Golf and Resorts in Sparks, Nevada was held on May 2-3rd and included three teams:
- THEM Gals (Tina Cristanti, Chris Maffey, Christine Corrigan, and Jessica Hirsch)
- The Grass Masters (Chris Zuzack, Barb Klaiber, Kim Bradeen, and Kathy Zoladz)
- The Swinging Swimmers (Carol Enders, Kathleen Howley, Dawn Lamarca, and Tammy Lysaght)
The Grass Masters won the third flight with lowest overall net score at 13 under par! Their lowest Net was third out of all 47 teams across all flights!
The Swinging Swimmers placed second in overall net score in the fourth flight!
Great Fun was had by all! Congratulations to all 3 teams!
The LPGA Team Championships will be held at the Dye Course in North Myrtle Beach, SC on June 13-14 include two teams:
- Christine Corrigan and Tina Crisanti
- Anne Enders and Melissa Miller
The Championship Open is being held on the Pfau Course at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN on July 18-19.
- Chris Zuzack and Dawn Lamarca are participating in this individual stroke play tournament
