Day at the Races at Gulfstream Park

Buffet: Unlimited buffet service 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm at Ten Palms Restaurant
Includes: One complimentary glass of wine or draft beer, reserved air conditioned VIP trackside seating, daily race program, one lucky $2 betting voucher.
We have a named race, "LPGA Amateur Golf Association. First 25 people registered can watch our named race from winner's circle so register early! Everyone can pose with winning jockey for post race photo.
Parking: Valet available for $10 or self park.


The 2019 LPGA Amateurs Championship MIAMI CHAPTER 1st Stage Qualifier REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Join us for the 2019 Miami Chapter Championship where LPGA Amateurs Miami members of all skill levels have the opportunity to compete against other members who share the same playing ability. Whether you are a seasoned golfer or new to the game, the LPGA Amateurs Miami Chapter Championship provides a venue to experience competitive golf among friends and in the spirit of fun.

When: Saturday, May 4th – 8:00 am shotgun start  (Rain date: Saturday, May 11)

Where: Shula’s Golf Club, 7601 Miami Lakes Drive, Miami Lakes, FL 33014

Cost:  Chapter Tournament Fee:  $65.00 (includes golf fees, range balls, luncheon and awards)

NOTE: You will be register with the Miami Chapter for payment, and you must also register with LPGA Amateurs HQ (no fees) as follows:                        



Deadline for registration is April 16, 2019

  • If you score a birdie at any LPGA Amateur Golf Association Event or Miami chapter outing, including league play, please email your information to Carolyn Caplan. Include the LPGA Amateur Golf Association outing, course and hole, and we'll update the virtual tree on our website. The person with the most birdie's at the end of the year will receive a special prize at our Annual Holiday Event. See who's "hanging on the birdie tree" so far in 2019.

  • We are happy to new members welcome Karen Schmid, Johanna LaRosa and Patricia Carney to the Miami Chapter!

  • New Chapter Sites have launched. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to launch their new Chapter sites!
  • The LPGA Women’s Network has launched their new podcast “Talk Birdie to Me.”  Hosted by former LPGA Tour player turned journalist Anya Alvarez, this podcast is the first of its kind and is dedicated to sharing conversations centered around women's golf and the issues you care about most.  Click here to listen to the first episode featuring Cheyenne Woods and Shasta Averyhardt who share their thoughts on diversity and representation in golf.
