About Us

LPGA AMATEUR GOLF ASSOCIATION (LPGA AMATEURS)

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association (LPGA Amateurs) is a women’s golf community that provides opportunities for all women to learn to play, play better, have fun and make friends.

The mission of the LPGA Amateurs is to provide a welcoming golf community for all women. The LPGA Amateurs transcends geographic boundaries with over 15,000 members and Chapters in over 130 cities (and growing) in the US and internationally. We bring together and connect women who share a passion for golf by hosting thousands of golf, social and networking events annually, as well as providing members with the opportunity to participate in major national tournaments and events.

Diverse in every way, LPGA Amateurs members play golf for a variety of reasons – to learn something new, to connect with other women, for health and wellness, to compete, for business, or just plain fun. Just as our events vary, so do the skill levels of our members – from beginners embarking on their first lesson, to those returning to the game to lifelong golfers.

LPGA AMATEURS - GREATER TORONTO AREA (GTA) CHAPTER

Whether you live or work in the Greater Toronto Area (including Halton, Peel, York and Durham), the LPGA Amateurs - Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Chapter offers a broad range of opportunities to play golf and connect with like-minded women.  We are the original Canadian Chapter of this Association, established under the vision and guidance of long-term LPGA member and Lou Marsh Trophy winner as Canada's Outstanding Athlete, Sandra Post.

Our vision is to provide opportunities for women golfers of all interests, abilities and experience and to that end, we offer clinics, weekly leagues, weekend and premium events, and social gatherings through the year.  We live by the LPGA Amateurs motto:

CONNECT  •  LEARN  •  PLAY  •  BELONG ®
