Each course will challenge both the experienced and beginner golfer.  2025 rates are: Senior (55+) $54, Regular $70, power carts are extra for $24 per rider (Note: these rates don’t include HST).

Registration for this League is open on the Event Portal. Once registered, you will receive a weekly invitation via email to confirm “playing” or “not playing”. If you have any questions, please direct them to the League Coordinator.

Below is a table of league dates and courses.

THURSDAY LEAGUE: DON VALLEY GOLF CLUB

Join us for golf on Thursdays at Don Valley Golf Course, a Toronto hidden gem, where you will enjoy playing a variety of holes though wooded areas and meadows. Don't let the stunning views distract your focus! There are two league options - a 18 hole with tee times starting mid- morning and  a 9 hole with tee times starting after 5:00pm.

Once you are registered as a participant of the Don Valley League you will receive 2 weekly emails (Sunday evening) to register for the following week's Thursday play (10 days later) for either 18 or 9 holes. Carefully respond to the correct email by clicking “Playing” or “Not Playing” to indicate your interest in playing 18, 9 or not at all. Volunteers will attempt to reserve enough tee times to accommodate all interested members on a weekly basis.  An email with playing partners and tee times will be sent to you on Friday afternoon.

Registration is open on the Event Portal. Check the course website  for current green fees.

Please arrive at the Pro Shop at least 20 minutes before your tee time to pay your green fees and get to the first tee. If you are sharing a cart, please wait for your cart mate before checking in.

SUNDAY LEAGUE: LAKEVIEW GOLF CLUB

Come experience this beautiful course in the heart of the GTA. This Sunday League offers morning and afternoon tee times. The League will start once the course is open which is planned for mid-April based on the weather. As the City of Mississauga does not allow us guaranteed tee times, tee times are booked on a weekly basis. Registration for this League is open on the Event Portal.

Important changes this season at Lakeview:

Residents of Mississauga can book tee times one hour before the general public. Booking by Mississauga residents begins at 8:00 pm on Sunday for tee times on the following Sunday. It’s important we have volunteers who live in Mississauga to help book tee times this year. If you can assist, please indicate that when you sign up on the website or contact Maria, the League Coordinator.

Please note that residents of Mississauga need to register with the Pro shop by showing proof of residency, so they can ensure your login allows you to book at 8:00pm. Also, if you are a resident of Mississauga and you book a tee time, the course requires that you must play on the day you book. You don’t necessarily have to play at the time you booked but sometime during the day.

The 2025 Sunday rates (inclusive of HST) for walking are:

Non- Resident $95.62, Resident $91.07

After 12:00 pm, seniors age 55 and older are offered a discounted rate:

Non- Resident $64.10, Resident $61.05

If riding, the cart fee is $22.01.

SUNDAY LEAGUE: PICKERING GLEN GOLF CLUB

Join us early on Sunday mornings at Pickering Glen Golf Club in Pickering (vicinity of Hwy 407and York Durham Line - a mere 15-minute drive from Yonge and 407). Golfers of all ages and abilities will enjoy this traditional 150-acre parkland-stye challenge - nestled within a picturesque backdrop of scenic slopes, natural waterways and native foliage.

Tee times are usually between 9 am and 10 am, with 16 spots available.  The green fee is paid at the pro-shop and the cost per round for walking is $75 plus tax and for riding $97 plus tax. Once you are registered as a participant of the Pickering Glen league you will receive weekly emails on Sunday Evening to register for the following Sunday play. Simply respond to the email by clicking on the option buttons of “Playing” or “Not Playing”. Confirmed players will receive an additional email on Friday afternoon detailing your exact tee time and playing partners.

2025 MATCH PLAY

WHAT IS MATCH PLAY?

Match Play is about winning holes – many a match is won or lost by just a single putt.  It’s impossible to predict the outcome of a Match Play Tournament since the playing field is equalized by using handicaps. This format is a fun way to compete since one “blow-up hole” doesn’t mean you’re out of the match!

FORMAT

Our goal this year is to make playing in the Match Play League as convenient as possible by establishing the League pods in each of the following Leagues; Don Valley, Granite Ridge, Lakeview, Pickering Glen. If both players agree, first round matches could be played within the Travelling League schedule.  The number of players per pod to be confirmed by who signs up. Hopefully there will be at least 4 in each pod, so everyone is guaranteed at least 2 matches.  Each pod will have a round robin format, so that everyone plays each other once.  Winners of each pod will move on to the playoffs.

PREREQUISITES

  • Membership in the LPGA Amateurs - Greater Toronto Area (GTA) chapter
  • Maintain a current Handicap Factor through Golf Canada
  • Registered in at least one of our GTA leagues

RULES OF PARTICIPATION

All players must observe the following:

  • First Round Matches must be played during one of the 5 GTA Leagues. (** Note Exception)
  • Please check the schedule of play of your chosen League(s) so you know of your date and time commitments (forfeited matches are not fun for your opponent!)
  • When you register, please indicate which League is your first choice (A second choice will be asked and only used if there is an extreme imbalance in the pods and only with your consent)
  • Arrange and play your matches before the specified deadlines - inability of a player to arrange or play a scheduled match before the deadline may result in forfeiture of the match

(Exception Note**- play may be booked outside of League time on your League course if both players agree. This is encouraged to avoid forfeiture.)

  • Notify your League Coordinator a week advance when a Match will be played so they can put you in the same foursome
