About Us

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association is a nonprofit organization focused on providing women of all skill levels with opportunities to connect, learn, play, and enjoy the game of golf. LPGA stands for "Ladies Professional Golf Association," but this amateur association is for all women who want to participate in the community and play golf with other women.

The Myrtle Beach Chapter hosts special events and leagues for competitors and women who want to play Just 4 Fun. We promote learning programs geared toward female golfers who want to learn how to play and members who wish to enhance their golf skills, participate in competitive and social tournaments, and build relationships with other golfers.

Our Chapter's mission is to grow the game of golf among women of all skill levels and allow them to belong to a community with friends they haven't met yet. Our outreach to support charity programs and the many social gatherings, both on and off the course, are very uplifting and bring our members together in many ways.

The organization is a part of the larger LPGA Foundation, which uses the game of golf to empower and inspire women and young girls worldwide.
