Join Eddie in any or all of the (4) 1-hour sessions offered over weeks. Focus on chipping close to getting up and down, drive for show, putt to go low, long fairway woods and shots from 100 yards in.
These components will heighten your game so that you can play to the next level.

PLAY BETTER GOLF THURSDAYS with Eddie Young
Aug 15 - Sept 5 on Thursdays @1:30 pm
Eddie is a fantastic instructor, and we have nothing but positive reviews.
This four-week session is a' la cart. Sign up for one or all four. Learn with women in a clinic setting with a class size of 5:1. The Fundamentals of Golf will help you lag long putts, get back to driver basics, sand shots, chipping with a sand wedge and pitching wedge, and get more height with woods.

Available Positions
9-Hole League Captain - South Myrtle Beach
Weekday 9-hole casual events will be held between Hwy 501 to the south end of Pawleys Island.
- Book 3 tee times for 12 ladies after 3 pm at various courses once a week
- Communicate and manage groups for the day
- Play golf and represent the LPGA Amateurs Myrtle Beach at the course and help promote new members
Communications Chairwoman
This is a voting position that is to be held for two years. Duties include:
- Emailing members to inform them of upcoming events, special programs, and news
- Collect information from volunteers and prepare our monthly chapter newsletter using MailChimp
- Update the website events and news pages
Social Committee Members (3 positions)
- Create fun, social events with the Social Events Chairwoman
- Assist with duties to set up social events on and off the course.
- Themed golf events - Holiday Socials, Golf Trips, etc.
Tournament Committee Chair and (2) committee members
Assist with organizing Tournaments for intermediate/Advanced golfers (one tournament every two to three months)
(1) Handicap and (1) Rules Committee Chair
- Manages GHIN handicapping and works closely with League Director and League Captains
in setting up net events/tournaments - Monitors USGA new rules and GHIN updates and communicates any changes to the
Officers of this Chapter - Prepares educational handouts about handicapping and rules
- Present topics in micro-workshops on Educational Days
- Provide updates for the website with rule changes and handicap information
