Open Positions
9-Hole League Captain - South Myrtle Beach
Weekday 9-hole casual events will be held between Hwy 501 to the south end of Pawleys Island.
- Book 3 tee times for 12 ladies after 3 pm at various courses once a week
- Communicate and manage groups for the day
- Play golf and represent the LPGA Amateurs Myrtle Beach at the course and help promote new members
Communications Chairwoman
This is a voting position that is to be held for two years. Duties include:
- Emailing members to inform them of upcoming events, special programs, and news
- Collect information from volunteers and prepare our monthly chapter newsletter using MailChimp
- Update the website events and news pages
Tournament Committee Chair and (2) committee members -
Assist with organizing Tournaments for intermediate/Advanced golfers (one tournament every two to three months)
(1) Handicap and (1) Rules Committee Chair
Manages GHIN handicapping and works closely with League Director & League Captains
in setting up net events/tournaments
Monitors USGA new rules and GHIN updates and communicates any changes to the
Officers of this Chapter
Prepares educational handouts about handicapping and rules
Present topics in micro-workshops on Educational Days
Provide updates for the website with rule changes and handicap information
