The LPGA Amateur Golf Association exists to connect women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun. Since its inception in 1991, the LPGA Amateur Golf Association (formerly known as Executive Women’s Golf Association – EWGA) has served as a portal to golf and touched the lives of thousands of women of all skill levels. LPGA Amateur Golf Association has Chapters throughout the United States and Internationally.
The LPGA Amateur Golf Association San Antonio Chapter was established in 1993 and the membership reflects a cross-section of individuals from different vocations in Boerne, Blanco, Bandera, Comfort, Castroville, Floresville, New Braunfels, San Antonio, San Marcos. We also host events at military bases including Randolph AFB, Ft. Sam Houston and Lackland AFB. We are particularly proud to have a number of active and retired military personnel. Our chapter has a number of winter visitors from all over the United States, anyone looking for a place to golf with out snow on the ground will have a great time at our chapter events
The LPGA Amateurs – San Antonio chapter is your best place to get involved, get connected and to have fun playing the game of golf.
Everyone is welcome, including those who want to learn how to golf, those who enjoy playing casual golf and the more experienced (and perhaps competitive) players! We offer weekend golf events and weekday events geared to all levels of play and demanding schedules. We also offer outstanding golf education and social networking opportunities. For our competitive golfers, we offer the opportunity to participate in chapter competitive events and the various LPGA Amateur Golf Association Championships which include individual stroke play, match play and scramble team competition.
