IMPLIED RELEASE

By registering for an event with LPGA Amateur Golf Association - Westchester, you acknowledge that you agree to the following:

I give LPGA Amateur Golf Association the absolute right and permission to use my photograph in its promotional materials and publicity efforts. I understand that the photographs may be used in a publication, print ad, direct mail piece, electronic media, or other form of promotion. I release LPGA Amateur Golf Association, the photographer, their offices, employees, agents, and designees from liability for any violation of any personal or proprietary right I may have in connection with such use.

PAYMENT POLICY

LPGA Amateur Golf Association - Westchester events are offered on a prepaid basis. The payment must be made by credit card via the Golf Genius registration system.

Should a payment not clear (i.e., cancelled or invalid credit card, etc.) a member must pay and square accounts with the Chapter Finance Director within 15 days of notice.  Failure to do so will result in temporary suspension of membership privileges eliminating the opportunity to sign up for future LPGA Amateur - Westchester events.  Membership will be reinstated once payment is received.

If there is a second occurrence, the member will only be allowed to fully prepay for future events to ensure funds clear prior to the event.

If there is a third occurrence, the Board has the right to revoke membership, though the member would be allowed to finish any events already paid for and cleared (such as league play).

If termination is being considered, the member may address their payment inconsistencies to the Board, such as mitigating factors etc., for the board's consideration and review.

The Boards decision on suspension and termination are final, and in keeping with the LPGA Amateur guidelines on the subject.

REFUND POLICY

We are using a new system this year called Golf Genius for event registration. You will register and pay upfront for all events, including those where in the past you paid the day of the event (Open Play, Nine & Wines, Clinics on Demand). As a reminder, when we make a commitment with a course or a venue for an event, the Chapter handles paying for the spots reserved, regardless of how many people show up. Therefore, we have the following NO REFUND POLICY in place:  Payment for all events is final and there are no refunds.

In the case of inclement weather, if the course or venue is open, the event will go on. Refunds will be issued only if an event is cancelled by the course or venue for any reason or by the Chapter due to low attendance. We realize that sometimes things happen at the last minute, and you can't make an event that you registered for. You are welcome to try to find a substitute to take your spot, plan your own reimbursement, and have the substitute fill your spot. But if you are not going to attend, please be considerate and contact the event organizer ahead of time to let them know. Also, we can’t always guarantee you will be assigned with the playing partner, group, or tee time requested at an event. Our volunteers spend a great deal of time organizing tee times and pairings in advance of events, so please do not change them on your own.

SUBSIDY POLICY

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association - Westchester Board of Directors (Board) will, at their sole discretion, determine the cash subsidy, if any, for members that compete in the following LPGA Amateur National Championships:

LPGA Amateur Championship Finals
Eligibility: Individuals must have competed in the Sectional Championship Qualifiers and advanced to represent Westchester in the Championship Finals. The 2023 Championship Finals will be played at Indiana University Golf Course – Pfau Course, Bloomington, IN, July 28-29, 2023.

LPGA Amateur Cup Finals
Eligibility: The team must represent the Westchester Chapter at the LPGA Amateur Cup Finals. The 2023 Championship Cup Finals will be played at RTJ Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley, Birmingham, AL, October 20-21, 2023.

Eligibility
Those eligible for a subsidy must be LPGA Amateur Golf Association - Westchester primary or dual members in good standing and must represent the Westchester Chapter as a team or individually as they compete in the LPGA Amateur National Championship events.

It is the sole responsibility of each Chapter member to notify the Board of their participation and show proof of payment of Registration.  The events that the Board may choose to subsidize due to cost of registration fees and/or travel can be decreased or increased at the discretion of the Board.  If possible, the Board will notify the Chapter members of the amount of the subsidy before the event.

Guest Policy
Family, friends, and other non-members are welcome to join us two times in a single season (once is great, twice is nice, three times – let’s talk membership!) #inviteHER.
