Volunteers: the lifeblood of our Chapter!

All the good stuff we do as your "virtual golf club" goes on because volunteers make it happen. Our Chapter runs on the time and energy that members invest, from Board directors to league captains to PlayARound hosts to event committee members.

Mary Pat Devine and Suzanne O'Connor had a vision and in 1996 began what was then called EWGA (Executive Women's Golf Association), which later merged into the LPGA Amateurs.

Devine O'Connor Founders Award

Our Chapter's highest volunteer honor is the Devine O'Connor Founders Award. The award was established in 2003, on behalf of our founders Mary Pat Devine and Suzanne O'Connor.
