  • 2022 Nancy Oliver - Act Like a Founder Award Nominees Announced!

    Yvonne Phillis (Louisville) passed away on June 30, 2022, after a valiant struggle with neuroendocrine carcinoma. A member since 2012, even after her diagnosis she remained an active board member and participated in events when she felt good. Her fellow Chapter leaders shared beautiful words and tributes about Yvonne, “Our organization is stronger because of her influence and support. Yvonne truly loved to teach the game of golf in a way that makes you feel like you're learning but still having fun. She has made an impact with so many of our long-term members because her calm demeanor and voice that makes you feel welcome but also educating you on the rules and etiquette of golf.”

  • Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour Needs Volunteers!
    The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour (PKBGT) is the only LPGA Foundation Approved Tour, and their mission is to give girls the opportunity to learn, grow and compete in a tour catered especially for them. The PKBGT needs volunteers all around the country! Some of the tournament duties would include check-in, starting, running shuttles, monitoring pace of play and scoring.

  • Fort Lauderdale Chapter Raises Money for the Memorial Foundation!
    Last weekend, the LPGA Amateurs Fort Lauderdale Area Chapter hosted their Annual Charity Event for a Cure. This year, their efforts were to raise funds to support both Breast and Ovarian Cancer research and education. They donated 100% of the net proceeds to the Memorial Foundation, a non-profit organization. 

  • Madison Chapter Raises Money for Youth!
    Our Madison, Wisconsin Chapter had their 2022 Charity Golf Outing this past week! All proceeds went to the WSGA Foundation and the Youth on Course program, providing $5 rounds of golf to juniors throughout Wisconsin. You can read more by clicking HERE!

  • LPGA Amateurs Virtual Scramble Results!
    Thanks to all the Virtual Scramble participants, we raised $13,200 for the Women on Par Scholarship and Renee Powell Grant! 

  • Shoutout to the Palm Beach County Chapter for supporting local Girls Golf Sites!
    The Palm Beach County Chapter made a generous donation to local Girls Golf Sites. The Chapter holds two big fundraisers each year; a holiday party in December and the Pink Ball in February. Originally they reached out to the local programs and invited them to join their holiday party to learn more about each other and since then, they made it their mission to support programs in their county that promote and support the game of golf for
    young women who have financial need.
