Handicap Services for St. Louis Chapter
USGA Handicap Services
LPGA Amateurs St. Louis Chapter is pleased to offer the USGA GHIN Handicap Services as a benefit to our members. This is provided through the chapter’s partnership with the Metropolitan Amateurs Golf Association (MAGA).
Our USGA GHIN Handicap Service is an optional service offered at cost to our active members who want to establish and maintain a handicap index. If you want to use this handicap service, you must be an active member of our chapter with a paid annual membership to the St. Louis Chapter of LPGA Amateur Golf Association.

GolfNet Handicap Services
GolfNet Handicap Services is a third-party handicap service provider offered by LPGA Amateurs as a benefit for active members who wanted to establish and maintain a handicap index through their club. This handicap service was discontinued as an LPGA Amateurs membership benefit at the end of 2021.
However, LPGA Amateur members who used GolfNet as their primary handicap service in 2021 and renewed their LPGA Amateurs membership for 2022 are allowed to continue using GolfNet Handicap Service through 2022. These members will be required to transition from GolfNet to a USGA GHIN Handicap Service provider for the 2023 golf season.
GolfNet is no longer being offered as a benefit to new members who join LPGA Amateurs in 2022. New members will need to join a USGA GHIN Handicap Service provider to establish and maintain a USGA GHIN Handicap index.
The LPGA Amateurs St. Louis Chapter offers a USGA GHIN Handicap Service at cost to our active members through the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association (MAGA). To learn about our handicap service and apply, please see USGA Handicap Service.
World Handicap System 2020 required all third-party Handicap Services to issue a unique USGA GHIN Handicap Number identifier to their member’s account at the start of January 2020. You can find this number under your existing GolfNet account. This is your unique USGA GHIN Handicap Number that will transition with you to the club of your choice in maintaining a USGA GHIN handicap index for life.
