Chapter News & Announcements
  • Spring Fling 2021

Wednesday, evening many of us attended our Spring Fling Socially Distanced Cocktail. Since covid, we have all missed socializing après golf. Our Quarterly cocktails provide a much-enjoyed opportunity to mingle, chat and meet new members. A great time was had by all.

Again, we used our social get together to remember those less fortunate adding a fund raiser component to our Cocktail.  Our group raised $720. With a matching gift by our Board, LPGA Amateurs will donate $1440 to the Bluffton and Savannah chapters of Family Promise. KUDOS to all who participated.

While we all love golf, our friendships have proved be an equally important to our LPGA Amateurs chapter. If you missed this one, do plan on attending our next one: Summer Solstice: Wednesday, June 30th.

  • 2020 Holiday Giving to Family Promise

Wishing you all the Happiest of Holidays!!

The LPGA Amateurs, Savannah Hilton Head Board wants to thank all that attended our Holiday gathering at Crescent Pointe and those others that donated to Family Promise.  A fun time was had by all that attended.  We all look forward to next year when hopefully Covid will be under control and we all can feel up to celebrating the holidays with others.  A special thanks to Darlene Polk for organizing the event and Lainey Ouellette for obtaining the Pavilion and getting a wonderful fire going.  Also, Tee Thymes Two Catering for our wonderful individually packaged snacks – they were delicious. Please go to our website to see photos.

The most important item is that we raised $600 for Family Promise and with the clubs matching our donations we will present Family Promise of Beaufort Co and Family Promise of Greater Savannah with $1,200.  Well done ladies

Hope you all stay well and have a Joyous Holiday
