Let's get golfing! League time has finally arrived.
It's finally here! Time to get golfing, ladies, and I'm sure I speak for all 62 of us when I say I couldn't be happier. We made it to the golfing season despite the best attempts of the coronavirus to thwart those efforts.
Of course, COVID-19 isn't that far away from us yet, so we still encourage our leagues and members to practice safety measures while out on the courses with each other and other golf participants on our courses to respect the needs of everyone. Beyond that, whether you get together to share some cocktails or food afterward is up to each league, and of course up to each individual. As a reminder, all players play at their own risk, and should review and adhere to local, state and government advisories.
Text us at 33222 to receive important information and notices from our Chapter all year long, but in the meantime, have a great time teeing off with old friends this week. We share your enthusiasm for the game of golf and the friendships we've built alongside the game. Have fun, be safe and hit 'em long and straight, friends!
Cheers to greener, brighter days ahead!

LPGA-Amateurs of Wisconsin Chapters
Receive Award for Support of Women's Golf
We are pleased to announce that our chapter, along with the other Wisconsin LPGA-Amateurs chapters in Madison, Milwaukee and the new Stateline chapter, will be presented with an Award of Excellence for our support of women's golf by the Badger Mutual Insurance Company who annually hosts an amateur women's golf competition at Brown Deer Golf Course in Milwaukee in July. If any of our members are interested in competing in this tournament, here's a link to the signup.
"I am a member of the Brown Deer Women's Golf Club here in Milwaukee. For the past 20 years our club has organized and run a statewide competitive tournament for amateur women, the Badger Mutual Insurance Women's Amateur. It is held at the Brown Deer golf course and this year's event will be held (hopefully) on July 27-28.
Our tournament closes with an Awards Luncheon for all golfers. At that time, in addition to flight winners and an overall champion, an Award for Excellence is presented to a person or organization who has done outstanding work in supporting and promoting women's golf. This year we are presenting the award to the LPGA Amateur Golf Association here in Wisconsin. The wonderful opportunities your organization offers women throughout Wisconsin truly makes an important and positive impact on women golfers."
