LOCAL CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER:
Join your LPGA Amateur Wine Country Chapter friends for a fun day competition at Windsor Golf Club. Saturday, June 22nd. 1st Tee Time is 10:00AM. 


$58 Walking, $73 Riding, includes green fees, range balls and appetizers after golf.

Registration is a 2 step process:
Step 1 - Register on the National LPGA Amateurs website. You will not pay on the National Site. Click Here for a link to National for Registration
Step 2 - Pay for the event through our Chapter Site. Click Here for a link to Pay on our Chapter's Site. Important - don't forget to pay on our site after you've registered on National! 
If you are NOT competing in the Championship, but just want to join us for a FUN PLAY golf day, sign up on our Chapter's site only. You do NOT need to complete Step 1 on the National site! 

Stages of the LPGA Amateurs Championship: 
* The LCQ is an 18-hole local qualifying round held at Windsor Golf Club, June 22nd 
* The Sectional Championship Qualifier is an 18-hole round also held at Windsor Golf Club on July 13th competing with other chapters from Northern California.
* The Championship Finals is a two-day, 36-hole event held at The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa, Rancho Mirage, CA, October 11-12 

The LCQ Championship offers two different competitive formats: Stroke Play Competition and Inter-Chapter Team Scramble Competition. You select the competitive format that best fits your game, personality and skill level. 

STROKE PLAY COMPETITION:
Stroke play competitors play in one of five flights at the LCQ event based upon their USGA Handicap Index. Flight Handicap Range: 
Championship: 0.0 to 10.0 
First: 10.1 to 17.0 
Second: 17.1 to 24.0 
Third: 24.1 to 32.0 
Fourth: 32.1 to 40.4 
First place low gross and first place low net winners in each of the flights will qualify to advance to the Sectional Championship Qualifier (SCQ) -but are not required to do so. 

TEAM SCRAMBLE: 
Chapter scramble teams consist of four (4) women who meet the eligibility requirements to play in the LCQ. The team "handicap factor" is established based on the USGA Handicap Index of all four players. 
1st and 2nd place winning scramble teams are eligible to advance to the Sectional Championship Qualifier (SCQ) -but are not required to do so. 

TO QUALIFY, MEMBERS MUST: 
* Follow the registration guidelines distributed by the local Chapter 
* Be a female, LPGA Amateurs member in good standing 
* Have a verifiable USGA Handicap Index and have an equivalent of two 18-hole scores posted to your handicap record in the current year, prior to the handicap cut-off date of June 15 (for the LCQ). 
* Be an amateur golfer as defined by USGA Rules of Amateur Status

  • Join LPGA Amateurs for a memorable trip to Kohler, WI with LPGA and World Golf Hall of Fame member Nancy Lopez and her award-winning LPGA instruction team; Sue Powers and Teresa Zamboni. Play incredible golf courses, enjoy time with Nancy Lopez, learn about Nancy's Play Happy! philosophies, hear amazing stories and create memories with your golfing friends.

  • The LPGA Amateurs Golf Department is hosting a 2019 Rules Update Webinar to provide members with information about the changes in the 2019 USGA golf rules.  All members are invited to attend this webinar and it will be recorded if members are unable to attend live. The webinar will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 7:00pm EDT (6:00pm CDT, 5:00pm MDT and 4:00pm PDT). Association News and Announcements
  • Registration is Open for Biggest Loser Handicap Challenge - How low can you go? The goal of this National challenge is to lower your Handicap Index. Participants are flighted and the winners of each flight will receive a prize. The player who lowers her Handicap Index by the most strokes will win the Grand Prize - a round of golf for the winner and a guest with 2-time LPGA Major Champion, Brittany Lincicome!   • Several LPGA Amateurs systems will be unavailable on Saturday, April 27 due to scheduled maintenance.  Affected systems include Member Clubhouse, handicap system, chapter website editing (websites will still work, but you won't be able to log in).  Maintenance will begin at 6 AM ET and is expected to conclude no later than 12 PM.
  • The Women on Par Scholarship Program has officially launched for 2019! This year we have narrowed our focus in order to have a more direct impact on our members and their family’s lives. We’re excited to announce we have changed the eligibility requirements to only LPGA Amateur members, daughters and granddaughters of members.
