So, what happened at this year's WGAMI Tournament??

Wgami representatives

Charline Avey, Dionne Leard, Brenda Ramsey and Edith Millikan participated in the 99th annual WGAMI tournament held at Highland Country Club beginning on Monday, June 10th.

Brenda Ramsey qualified for the Sweet Sixteen (Championship Flight) by shooting one of the 16 lowest scores on the first day of the tournament (tied for 10th).  Her “reward” was playing the defending champion from last year in the first round of match play. Unfortunately, Brenda was defeated, but it was an honor to qualify to play against one of the top amateur golfers in the city.

Edith Millikan played in the 4th flight and won her first match in 20 holes! She was defeated in her second match. Dionne Leard played in the 1st flight, and Charline Avey played in the 6th flight.  We are so proud of each of you!!

Indy Women in Tech Returns to Brickyard Crossing in September 2019 for
it's FINAL year.

The tournament will not be returning in 2020, so make sure you join us this year for the LPGA experience!

The LPGA Amateurs - Central Indiana will again be marshaling Hole #1 at the LPGA tournament held at the Brickyard.   This is a fun opportunity to be “inside the ropes” and watch great golfers while having fun with friends.  The event is September 25 - 29.

For registration and to sign up for shifts (at least 3 requested, 2 minimum), click the link: https://2019iwit.my-trs.com/ . Then Click the purple “Register Now” button on the right.  Use code LPGA2019 to be able to see Hole #1 - it is reserved for our members, friends, and family.    The registration will be opened to general public volunteers on July 1, so register as soon as possible for the best shifts!
