    Dear Members and Friends,
We had a wonderful time "Day Trippin." it was a challenging day on the course and with a bus delay we took advantage of some socializing, beverages and food. Once you attend one of these events you will not miss another one because they are just so fun.
Thank You to Connie Clifton and Beth Keene with our Events Committee for organizing a day full of games, prizes and yummy food and beverages!
Fall has arrived but LPGA Amateurs still has a lot of golfing opportunities ahead and the cooler temps make it that more enjoyable. It's been a fun summer with so many new faces that have joined us in leagues along with golf and social events.
We have open positions on our board and you are needed to participate as this is YOUR group and we always need fresh ideas and energy to continue growing.
Thanks to everyone who participated in Sawyer's Warriors Golf Scramble. We reached our goal of raising $10,000 for March of Dimes for the first time. I really appreciate all the support from my LPGA Amateurs family.
    Happy Fall Golfing!!!

Louisville Regions Virtual Scramble Team Finishes in Top Third

PAR_TEE IN KentucKEE_Team PhotoLPGA Amateurs held it's first Virtual Scramble from August 28 - September 13. Scramble teams were able to play a local course of their choosing during the event time frame.

The LPGA Amateurs Louisville Region team of Debbie Brown, Belinda Gates, Carol Ormay and Bobbie Ramsey finished tied for 31st after all the cards had been submitted. The team named, PAR/TEE in KentucKEE, had a net score of 57 at Covered Bridge. Almost 200 teams participated in this first-ever event.
Congratulations to two teams representing our near neighbors to the north. Two teams from the Cincinnati Chapter tied for second place and were finally ranked second and third in a scorecard playoff. These teams were BSW (Alice Hoctor, Tracy Spencer, Allison Mayborg and Patricia Weber) and Cincy Crushers (Terri Campbell, Brandy Del Favero, Carol Neckel and Bobbi Ridder).
Net proceeds of the event went to the LPGA Foundation - Women on Par Scholarship and Renee Powell Grant Fund. The event raised over $56,000. This event was such a success, the LPGA Amateur Golf Association plans additional virtual play events.
