Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is the first step in the process of creating the cohesive leadership team to lead the Chapter. The role of the Nominating Committee is to seek out and find the best-qualified candidates for each of the available Board positions. It is also the committee’s responsibility to properly evaluate each candidate to ensure they meet the qualifications and fit the best candidates to each position. The committee also ensures the candidates understand and agree to the expectations before they serve on the Board of Directors. Nominating Committee members are limited to service on the Nominating Committee for two (2) consecutive years.

I look forward to seeing you at our next outing.  Until then, let us continue to swing, bring, and serve.  Happy Independence!!!

Maria

Finally, I leave you with this… For Black History month, the Golf Channel on their Golf Central segment featured Langston Golf Club.  As part of this celebration, several local men and women golfers who have supported Langston were interviewed.  To see this informative piece, click on the link here: How Langston Golf Club included African Americans

Please enjoy this piece of history, then, we invite you to dust off the clubs, and…
