LPGA Amateurs - Southern MD

Our Chapter’s Annual Golf Getaway in our new location of Hilton Head, South Carolina was a blast!  The courses were pristine, and the accommodations were outstanding during our October 7 -10, 2022 visit!!! A big thank you is fitting for our Director of Events and Activities, Jewel Pearson, and to our Director of Finance and Records, Pamela Wilson!

 

2022 Nancy Oliver - Act Like a Founder Award

The Nancy Oliver - Act Like a Founder Award is the LPGA Amateurs' highest leadership award. The award recognizes members who: display exceptional long-term volunteer leadership and service to the association, exemplify the passion, spirit, and mission of the LPGA Amateurs; advocate for the local Chapter and association as a whole; positively engage with members and the local community; and have a desire to leave the organization better than they found it. Winner of the 2022 award is Donna Shaw, Tucson Chapter.

Volunteer
Through out the year we have volunteer opportunities to assist, such as:

  1. Captain of Golf Event(s)
  2. Planning Social Activities
  3. Assisting at the Chapter Championship- checking players in, taking pictures, etc. 
  4. Making Phone calls
  5. Recruiting new members
  6. etc. 
These really are just a few opportunities that the chapter has through out the season. You can be involved as much or as little as your time allows. We like to utilize your strengths and expertise to assist build our chapter and make every outing a fantastic experience.
