Introducing the LPGA Amateurs/Professionals Ambassador Program!
67% of members that join the LPGA Amateurs indicate they join to either learn to play the game or improve their golf skills. LPGA Teaching Professionals are experts in teaching the game of golf and LPGA Amateurs want to learn and improve their skills – it is a perfect match! Ambassadors serve as the main contact for golf instruction and education for the Chapter. The Chicago Metro Chapter has teamed up with three LPGA Teaching Professionals to provide educational programming for our members. Note: All registrations and payments are directly between the LPGA Pro and the member.

Tina Favia’s successful golf career includes more than 30 years of teaching professionally. Tina began teaching in the Chicago area in 1991, first at Wynstone Golf Club and later Conway Farms. She joined the Cantigny professional staff in 2003 and has served as assistant coach at both the University of Wisconsin and Northwestern University. Tina’s Master’s degree in Sport Psychology and Kinesiology at the University of Colorado gives her a deeper understanding of learning and performance in sport. Creating a learning environment that encourages every level of player from beginner to tournament player is important to Tina. |
Lindsey Hassler has been involved with the game of golf for almost 25 years, starting at the young age of 8 and continuing to play competitive golf through college. She received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern Indiana while competing on the golf team. Their highlight win was winning the GLVC Conference Championship. After graduating from college Lindsey knew she wanted to stay in the golf field. Her first job out of college was an assistant at Edgewood Valley Country Club. After working there for 2.5 years, she decided to focus on teaching. Lindsey has been teaching at PGA Tour Superstore in Schaumburg since 2014 and has loved every minute of it. She has a true passion for teaching and looks forward to working with our chapter members. |
