End of Season Celebration: Chapter Championship/Eraser Day 2 and 2-person Scramble

Meadows of Sixmile Creek

Golf Event Descriptions

Eraser Tournament

Claim the title of the season's most improved golfer! This tournament includes two 18-hole rounds of golf: one in spring and one in fall. Golfers will set their score to beat during the spring round. In the fall, golfers will try to improve their score on each hole. The lowest score on each hole between the golfer's 2 rounds will be used toward their eraser score. The golfer who erases the most strokes across all 18 holes will win the title of most improved golfer! Awards will also be awarded to low gross and low net eraser score. A handicap is required, and eraser tournament includes registration in the chapter championship (held concurrently with the fall eraser round).

Chapter Championship and 2-person Scramble

Celebrate the end of the golf season by competing individually in the chapter championship or play with a partner in the scramble event. In the chapter championship, golfers will compete in 18 holes of stroke play. The chapter championship is flighted by handicap. Gross and net overall champions will win their membership for the next year. Prizes will also be awarded for low net and gross flight winners. Handicap is required for the chapter championship. The 2-person, 18-hole scramble is for golfers who want to play with a partner in a less competitive atmosphere. Prizes are awarded for top scramble teams. Non-members are welcome to play in the scramble. No handicap is required for the scramble.

Murphy Desmond Cup

The Madison chapter's annual match play tournament is generously sponsored by Murphy Desmond SC. In this bracket tournament, 2-person teams compete in 9-hole best ball match play rounds. The winner of each match advances to the next round. 2 matches are guaranteed for all teams. Each match is scheduled based on the availability of the teams, with approximately 1 match per month depending on the number of teams competing in the Cup. Handicap is required.

Badger Cup

Compete for the Madison chapter against the other Wisconsin LPGA Amateurs chapters (Milwaukee, Stateline, and Fox Cities) in this unique format. Members of each chapter compete in pairs with 6 holes of scramble, 6 holes of best ball, and 6 holes of alternate shot to contribute scores for their chapter. Each pair will play their round with a pair from a different chapter, so this is a great opportunity to connect with members from other chapters! No handicap is required.

Women's Day Outing

Celebrate women's golf day in our annual June outing. This is a 4-person, 18-hole scramble. No handicap required.

Charity Outing

Support our chapter's charity partner in our annual charity outing. This is a 4-person, 18-hole scramble with proceeds benefitting our charity partner. The event includes the chance to win a variety of raffle items. No handicap is required.
