2025 League Levels
Beginner - New to golf, just getting back into golf, and/or looking for a combination of golf and instruction.
Intermediate - Can navigate around the golf course and keep up with the pace of play.
Advanced - Can keep up with pace of play on difficult courses (2 hours for 9 holes). Please be mindful that it can be difficult to keep your pace of play if you are taking mulligans and/or hitting into trouble areas/hazards regularly.
Competitive - Can keep score according to the USGA Rules of Golf and maintain pace of play on difficult courses in a competitive golf environment. There is no handicap limit, but players are expected to maintain an accurate and up-to-date USGA handicap index. This includes posting all eligible league rounds after play each week.
*Keeping up with pace of play is valued more than your handicap or skill level, as long as you feel comfortable on the course you choose for your league and confident that you can keep up your pace of play. Players who fall behind pace of play are expected to pick up and move on to the next hole.

The Meadows of SixMile Creek - Tuesday 14 weeks - $349 ($187 for Meadows Gold Members & $25 for Meadows Plantinum Members)
(Advanced)
Shotgun start at 5:15. No league on June 24th. The Meadows is the LPGA Amateurs Madison Chapter's host course and has been supporting our chapter from the start. The course is 5,269 yards long with water and marsh. We have a shotgun start, so everyone ends at the same time and heads to the clubhouse for after-golf socializing. The league has been going strong for years, and is geared for intermediate to advanced golfers. If you are interested in splitting a league, it is your responsibility to find a partner. In the event of rain day, each participant will receive a 9 hole golf pass to use at another time.
University Ridge - Tuesday 12 weeks - $492 (Intermediate; Advanced)
New in 2025, the University Ridge league will have intermediate player and advanced player leagues. Advanced players are expected to want to keep score and should be able to easily keep pace of play (2 hours for 9 holes) at this difficult course. Players at both levels are expected to pick up after 10 strokes on a hole in order to maintain pace of play.
Due to special events the league dates will vary, but always on Tuesdays. Tee times begin at 4:55pm. University Ridge Golf Course is a U.W. course and one of the best in Wisconsin! Anyone who's played "The Ridge" knows the front and back nines have sharply contrasting styles, although both let you feel rather well secluded from civilization. The grassy and forested areas aren't marked as hazards so playing from these won't necessarily save more shots than declaring a ball lost. Great variety of holes and very challenging! University Ridge will offer free cart fees for this league.
Bridges Golf Course - Wednesday 14 weeks - $355 (Intermediate)
Tee times start at 4:32pm. With hazards on virtually every hole, this course gives intermediate golfers a challenge and helps sharpen the advanced players skills. There are two tee markers for ladies, which give you the ability to play a long or short game. In addition to sand traps, water hazards and long greens, the course also has a large Golf Range featuring target greens and artificial and grass hitting areas. As an added bonus, players are very fond of staying around and socializing in the Bridges always tasty club house!

Yahara Hills - Wednesday 14 weeks $364 (Competitive)
Embrace your competitive spirit in this team net stableford league. Players will be able to score points for their team each week based on net score. Stableford scoring is a point system; instead of counting your total number of strokes for a round of golf, a player's score on each hole is converted into Stableford points. Stableford points correlate to how well you play. The better you play relative to your handicap, the more points you get for your team! At the end of the season, one team will be declared the league champion, and a special MVP award will go to the top point scorer! Teams of approximately 8 players will be assigned based on handicap after registration. Players will be expected to keep score according to the USGA Official Rules of Golf and submit accurate scorecards after each round. Players will also be expected to maintain an up-to-date USGA/WSGA handicap.
Vitense Golfland - Thursday 14 weeks $265 (Beginner Learning League)
The Vitense Golfland spring/summer league is targeted towards new players or players with limited experience and limited golf instruction. This league will include group lessons in the first four weeks prior to the 9 weeks of league play. The league will begin on Thursday, May 9th at 5:30 pm and continue for 13 consecutive weeks on Thursdays at 5:30pm through, August 15th. Please note that if inclement weather prevents on-course play, a round of virtual golf at world famous courses like Pebble Beach will be played using Toptracer in our covered protected Golf Suite area. No weeks will be missed. The final week will include a fun scramble event with league wrap-up happy hour. The maximum participation for this league is 36 members. We will provide additional instructors as necessary to maintain reasonable student/teacher ratios for the group lessons.
The Glen Park - Thursday 14 weeks $379 (Intermediate)
Back by popular demand the first tee time is at 4:30. No league play the week of July 4. Reopened in 2022, The Glen Golf Park is a unique mixed-use outdoor recreation golf park.
