Chapter Leagues

LPGA Amateurs Cleveland Leagues

League Play runs from April 22, 2024 through September 13, 2024.

LPGA Amateurs – Cleveland Chapter hosts 9-hole League Play at multiple courses on weekday evenings. We have the best time because our members value the camaraderie of golf – whether you are new to the game, or in it for the competition – we’re happy you’re here. Full league and course details and Course Director contact information is listed below.

All members are welcome to play at any league location – simply contact the Course Director in advance to secure your tee time!  If you are new to league play, your Course Directors are a great resource and they look forward to speaking with you about everything from signing up for regular communications, games of the week, tee times, parking, etiquette, and other fun with the Chapter. To review our guest policy, click here.

The Chapter also provides opportunities to play 18-holes on weekends at a variety of Northeast Ohio courses. Check out the Open Weekend Golf schedule on the home page!  Members are asked to register in advance to secure their tee time, and may participate in as many of these as they like.  Check your emails to register for Open Weekend Golf during the season.

League Rules

LPGA Amateurs Cleveland - General League Rules

1.  Max Score on a Hole: During weekly league play, play to the hole, unless you’ve maxed out your score. (10 is the max per hole, all flights)

2.  Lost or Out of Bounds Ball – (there are TWO options):

  • When a ball is lost or out of bounds (areas marked by white stakes), you must play another ball from the spot of your previous stroke for one penalty stroke. Declaring and playing a provisional saves time and is encouraged during league play.
    OR
  • You may use the USGA local rule, determine where you believe ball is lost or out of bounds and drop to the edge of the fairway for 2 penalty strokes.
  • Limit your search time for a lost ball to 3 minutes (USGA Rule)

3.  Complete Putts:  All strokes count, to the hole.

Local League Rules

  • Pine Ridge Golf Course - The local rule is if you find your ball in the tall fescue uncut grass running along a number of holes on the front and back - you can take it out without penalty. This is Pine Ridge's way to keep up the pace of play.  If it's lost in tall grass then you must follow the Lost Ball rules above, and take a penalty.
