The LPGA Amateur Golf Association exists to connect women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun. Since its inception in 1991, the LPGA Amateur Golf Association (formerly known as Executive Women's Golf Association - EWGA) has served as a portal to golf and touched the lives of thousands of women of all skill levels. LPGA Amateur Golf Association has Chapters throughout the United States and internationally.

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association Rochester NY Chapter was established in September 2003 and the membership reflects a cross-section of over 200 women from Rochester NY, Monroe, Ontario, Wayne and surrounding counties in NY that all share a common link — GOLF. The LPGA Amateurs Rochester NY Chapter is your best place to get involved, get connected and to have fun playing the game of golf.

Everyone is welcome, including those who want to learn how to golf, those who enjoy playing casual golf and the more experienced (and perhaps competitive) players. We offer weekly weekday and weekend play days, weekly 9- and 18-hole leagues and pay as you play leagues geared to all levels play and demanding work schedules. We also offer outstanding golf education, club fittings and learning clinics throughout the year with the best of the best professional teachers in the Rochester area. Last year we held 24 learning clinics covering all aspects of golf. For our competitive golfers, we have a Chapter Championship event, and the opportunity to participate in the LPGA Amateur Golf Association National Championships (individual and team) and an Inter-Chapter Competitive Cup Event. We conduct monthly socials to keep us connected through the winter, which have been so popular that we now do socials throughout the year. We conduct several Chapter Sponsored Golf and Social Events throughout the year that also support local charities. In 2025 we raised approximately $10,000 for needy, local charities.
