Championship Sectional Qualifiers Registration Opens on Feb 23 - Feb 24, 2022
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Registration for the four Championship Sectional Qualifiers opens on Wednesday, February 23 at 1:00 pm EST. Check out the details with dates and locations in the Member Clubhouse at this link. Fun and useful tool available on the LPGA Amateurs’ national website! - Feb 24, 2022

The lpgaamateurs.com website has a valuable new tool. After you sign in, click on My Game Development in the left-hand menu of Member Clubhouse. Then, choose Rules Corner. You will find new videos there that very clearly and simply explain golf rules, such as Taking Complete Relief. Check it out!

LPGA Amateurs NYC Chapter travels to Dominican Republic - Feb 22, 2022
Members of our NYC Chapter recently traveled to the Dominican Republic for a winter golf trip. There they met and played golf with members of our Dominican Republic Chapter. The picture tells the story - everyone had a great time!

Our newest addition to playing options is a big hit: Golf and Go! - Jan 4, 2022
Golf and Go provides our members with additional opportunities to play together. It is less formal and smaller than Chapter Outings and will use a wider variety of courses compared to Open Play and the 18-Hole League.
Golf and Go dates are scheduled in months when there are no Outings and will not have formal prizes or catering. Informal competitive games or games between the groups may be included. Courses that have been used for Golf and Go include Pound Ridge Golf Club, New York Country Club, and Rock Spring Golf Club.

2022 Board Members - Jan 4, 2022

Congratulations to LaToya Finney, who was re-elected as the Chapter President. We also have some returning board members and new additions. The Golf Events Director role is now shared between co-Directors Ellen Halstead and Wonjung Sang. We're also welcoming: Marketing co-Directors Amy Willstatter and Ray Zeng; our new Member Services Director Jessie Punia; and Member Recruitment Director Yolanda Santiago-Hasbun.
The following board positions were not up for election. The individuals listed will continue to serve in their roles:
Communications Director: Janine Altamura; Finance and Records Director: Connie Germano; Social Events Director: Cindy Casteneda; Treasurer: A'Isha Torrence.
