New York City Chapter Events in 2024

Get ready to sign-up for the LPGA Amateur NYC Summer 18-Hole League!

The 18-Hole League is open to members in good standing of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association - NYC Chapter with a recommended handicap of 36 or below.* The league has a competitive component and different formats will be played each week.

The league dates and courses are:

  • Saturday, July 13 at Windwatch, first tee time at 12:20 pm.
  • Saturday, July 27 at Dunwoodie , first tee time at 11:06 am.
  • Saturday, August 3 at Sterling Farms, first tee time at 2:00 pm.
  • Saturday, August 17 at Saxon Woods, first tee time at 11:00 am.

Registration Information:

  • The registration fee is $330 and includes greens fees, golf carts, and prizes. If you need a ride to the course, in the registration form, select that you need a ride.
  • Registration will open on Friday, June 28th, 2024 at 9:00 AM. Registration will close on Friday, July 5th, 2024 at 5:00 PM or when the maximum number of 16 participants is reached. Events fill up quickly so register as soon as you can.
  • Register for the 18-Hole League at the Golf Genius event portal: 2024 Summer 18-Hole League Registration.

In order to register, you will need you LPGA Amateurs username and password, your GHIN number, and current handicap.

 You can also access the event portal by going to www.golfgenius.com. Click Sign-In in the upper right corner and enter the Golf Genius ID (GGID): 2024summer18hole. You do not have to enter an email or password. The GGID is not case sensitive.

If you want to play in the league but cannot make all of the dates, you can obtain a substitute and arrange payment of that day's green fees between yourself and the substitute. The registration fee is otherwise non-refundable once registered.

 If you cannot commit to the league but want to be on the substitute list or if registration is full, email Carolina Madero, 18-Hole League Chair.

  Regional and National Events In 2024

 

Phase 2 Registration opens May 28th for the 2024 Nor'easter Classic, which will be held on Monday, July 15th, 2024 at New Jersey National Golf Club, Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Excitement is high for this event and it is expected to sell out!

If you are still interested in registering but did not in phase one you can still register for any open slots. Phase 2 registration will remain open for 1 week. This will be the last opportunity to register for this year's Nor'easter Classic.

The Nor'easter Classic is an 18-hole scramble golf tournament with four person teams held by the following chapters of the LPGA Amateurs: New York City, Northern New Jersey, Long Island, Westchester, Central Jersey, Coastal New Jersey, Fairfield, Connecticut, and Central Connecticut. The tournament is open to members in good standing of one of the participating chapters with a verifiable USGA Handicap Index. This Year's host is the Central Jersey chapter.

Registration Information

For information regarding the Nor'easter, go to the Golf Genius Event Portal: lpgaams-2024noreasterclassic.golfgenius.com. You can also access the portal by going to www.golfgenius.com, and entering the Golf Genius ID (GGID) in the sign-in: 2024NOREASTER. In order to register, you need to enter your LPGA Amateur username and password.

All information and a full explanation of the event can be found on Golf Genius. Each participating chapter is allotted four teams. Registration is on a first come-first serve basis and is expected to sell out. Registration order will be determined by the last team member to register.
