LPGA Amateurs NYC Fall 18-Hole League

The 18-Hole League is open to members in good standing of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association - NYC Chapter with a recommended handicap of 36 or below.* The league has a competitive component, and different formats will be played each week.

The 18-Hole League is sponsored by the New York Golf Center. The New York Golf Center has a knowledgeable staff of avid golfers with an incredible selection of all major brands, golf equipment and apparel. They have two convenient locations in Manhattan at Herald Square, 131 West 35th Street, and Chelsea Piers, within the Chelsea Piers Golf Club complex. You can also shop online at www.nygolfcenter.com.


The league dates and courses are:

  • Saturday, September 7 at Douglaston, first tee time at 11:00 am.
  • Saturday, September 14 at Hudson Hills, first tee time at 10:08 am.
  • Saturday, September 28 at Dunwoodie, first tee time at 11:06 am.
  • Saturday, October 26 at Sprain Lake, first tee time at 11:06 am.

Registration Information:

  • The registration fee is $305 and includes greens fees, golf carts, and prizes. If you need a ride to the course, in the registration form, select that you need a ride.
  • Registration will open on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 7:00 PM. Registration will close on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 5:00 PM or when the maximum number of 16 participants is reached. Events fill up quickly so register as soon as you can.
  • Register for the 18-Hole League at the Golf Genius event portal: 2024 Fall 18-Hole League Registration.
  • In order to register, you will need you LPGA Amateurs username and password, your GHIN number, and current handicap.
  •  You can also access the event portal by going to www.golfgenius.com. Click Sign-In in the upper right corner and enter the Golf Genius ID (GGID): 2024NYCFALL18. You do not have to enter an email or password. The GGID is not case sensitive.
  • If you want to play in the league but cannot make all of the dates, you can obtain a substitute and arrange payment of that day's green fees between yourself and the substitute. The registration fee is otherwise non-refundable once registered.

 If you cannot commit to the league but want to be on the substitute list or if registration is full, email Shannon Britton, 18-Hole League Chair.

 *If you are interested in the league and your handicap is above 36, email Shannon to discuss playing in the league.


Get ready to sign-up for the LPGA Amateur NYC Fall 9-Hole League

The 9-Hole League is open to members in good standing of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association - NYC Chapter. The League is held at Mosholu Golf Course and is aimed at beginners and advanced beginners who may have limited on-course playing experience and may not have an established handicap.

 

The league dates are:

  • Saturday, Sept 14, approximate tee times between 8:00-11:00 am.
  • Sunday, Sept 22, approximate tee times between 8:00-11:00 am.
  • Saturday, Sept 28, approximate tee times between 8:00-11:00 am.
  • Sunday, Oct 6, approximate tee times between 8:00-11:00 am.
  • Sunday, Oct 13, approximate tee times between 8:00-11:00 am.
  • Saturday, Nov 2, approximate tee times between 8:00-11:00 am.


The approximate tee times listed above are dependent on course availability. League participants will be given exact tee times at least two days in advance of each league date.

Registration Information

The registration fee is $250, including green fees for six league dates and the traditional brunch on the last league date. Carts are available at the course at a rate of $15 per person.

Registration will close on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 at 5:00 PM or when the maximum number of participants is reached. Events fill up quickly so register as soon as you can.
