Upcoming:Season Tee-Off: Saturday, April 26th - Galloping Hill Golf Course, 53 Golf Club Drive, Kenilworth, NJThe LPGA Amateurs - New York City is kicking off the 2025 season at Galloping Hill Golf Course with our annual Tee-off. Golfers of all levels welcome. We will once again be offering an 18 hole option and a 9 hole and clinic option. Come hear about the great activities we have planned for the 2025 season. *All members, guests, and non-members play and participate at their own risk, and should review and adhere to local, state and government advisories.
Four-Ball TournamentThe LPGA Amateurs - New York City is holding their Four-Ball Tournament on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Split Rock Golf Course located at 870 Shore Road, Bronx, New York 10464. This is the first of four friendly competitive events our chapter is holding this year. In order to get the member's price, you will need to enter your LPGA Amateur username and password. You can also access registration and the event portal by going to www.golfgenius.com, and entering the Golf Genius ID (GGID): 2025NYCFOURBALL. Click Sign-In in the upper right corner and enter the GGID. Registration closes on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM or when the event fills up, whichever comes first. Tournament Format The format of the tournament is two-person teams playing four-ball (also known as best-ball). Each player on the team plays her own golf ball throughout the round. After each hole the player with the lowest score on the hole (or “best ball”) out of the two-person team serves as the team's score. The higher scoring player's score is thrown out for that particular hole. Past Events and Leagues:LPGA Amateurs NYC Fall 18-Hole League Sponsored by: NY GOLF CENTER-nygolfcenter.com The 18-Hole League is open to members in good standing of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association - NYC Chapter with a recommended handicap of 36 or below.* The league has a competitive component, and different formats will be played each week. The 18-Hole League is sponsored by the New York Golf Center. The New York Golf Center has a knowledgeable staff of avid golfers with an incredible selection of all major brands, golf equipment and apparel. They have two convenient locations in Manhattan at Herald Square, 131 West 35th Street, and Chelsea Piers, within the Chelsea Piers Golf Club complex. Fall 9-Hole League The 9-Hole League is open to members in good standing of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association - NYC Chapter. The League is held at Mosholu Golf Course and is aimed at beginners and advanced beginners who may have limited on-course playing experience and may not have an established handicap.
