2024 Upcoming New York City Chapter Events | ||||||||
Fall 9-Hole League The 9-Hole League is open to members in good standing of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association - NYC Chapter. The League is held at Mosholu Golf Course and is aimed at beginners and advanced beginners who may have limited on-course playing experience and may not have an established handicap.

The approximate tee times listed above are dependent on course availability. League participants will be given exact tee times at least two days in advance of each league date. Registration Information The registration fee is $250, including green fees for six league dates and the traditional brunch on the last league date. Carts are available at the course at a rate of $15 per person. Registration will close on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 at 5:00 PM or when the maximum number of participants is reached. Events fill up quickly so register as soon as you can. Click Sign-In in the upper right corner and enter the Golf Genius ID (GGID): 2024FALL9HOLE. If you want to play in the league but cannot make all of the dates, you can obtain a substitute and arrange payment of that day's green fees between yourself and the substitute. The registration fee is otherwise non-refundable once registered. If you cannot commit to the league but want to be on the substitute list or if registration is full, email Debbie Duffy, 9-Hole League Chair. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The LPGA Amateurs - New York City is holding the NYC Chapter Championship on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at La Tourette Golf Course located at 1001 Richmond Hill Rd., Staten Island, New York 10306. Registration is now open! We are wrapping up this year’s very successful inaugural Chapter Competition Series with a revival of our Chapter Championship. We used to conduct this competition to qualify for the LPGA Amateurs national competition. That system has changed, but we miss our local event, so we are bringing the Chapter Championship back to its traditional course! You must have valid GHIN and current handicap to play in this event.

You can also access registration and the event portal by going to www.golfgenius.com, and entering the Golf Genius ID (GGID): 2024NYCCHAMP. Click Sign-In in the upper right corner and enter the GGID. Registration closes on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 11:59 PM or when the event fills up, whichever comes first. Events fill up quickly so register as soon as you can.

Fees
Tournament Format The format of the tournament is individual stroke play. Players will be divided into flights by handicap index and prizes for the low gross and low net will be awarded for each flight.
Handicap You must have valid GHIN and current handicap to play in this event.
As a member of the LPGA Amateurs - NYC Chapter you can establish a handicap through the Metropolitan Golf Association (MGA) for $35 per year and post scores from a total of 54 holes, made up of any combination of 9 or 18-hole rounds. Once you do that, you will have a handicap the next day. It is that easy! The MGA link is here.
